1  General / Tech Corner / Re: Honda comparison questions on: November 07, 2006, 02:15:43 PM
Is that Electric Shifting pretty much like an Automatic or is it just easier to shift. I going to a dealer to drive one tomorrow but didnt want to waste my time if they were no good.
2  General / Tech Corner / Honda comparison questions on: November 07, 2006, 09:59:53 AM
Im looking at  two 2006 Honda Fourtrax 4x4 Ranchers. These are both new and would be shipped to me by a dealer (I would only buy one or the other).  One is the ES (electric shifting) TRX350FE  and the other is the TRX350FM- 5 spd W/reverse. I'm looking for opinions on those two models and what, if any, are the problems with the electric shifting? Thanks

Thanks for the replys! I had some time today to mess with it. With the key on, the lights would'nt come on either. I started jiggling the wires at the switch where they go in to the starter/kill/lights switch and they came on. I either have a bad connection in the switch on the handlebars or somewhere in the wiring to the connector.  Now, just gotta look to see if I can find another handlebar switch...anyone know where I can find one? (nothing on E-bay)

My 99 Bayou wouldnt start some time back and the solenoid and safety switch were changed. No problems for several months. Now, the neutral light comes on but it wont turn over. I can jump the solenoid and it turns over, but nothing happens. Does'nt seem to have any fire.. I'm thinking C.D.I.....any thoughts?

Yeah sorry, its a 4 wheeler  Embarrassed
I know that he did take the cable out one time and took out the gold spacer. He had more throttle movement but the thing really sputtered. He stuck it back together and its running ok but doesnt seem to run as well now. I'll print out youre suggestions and give em to him and see what happens. Thanks!

My neighbor has a little Kawasaki 80 that he bought for his daughter. He wants to bump it up a little but cant figger out how. Any thought on how to get a little more out of it? My sons 50 will smoke her so I know there has to be some sort of adjustment. The throttle limiter screw is all the way out so thats not it. Thanks
