I guess riding in tha sandpit can really do a lot of damage to the environment. they really acomplished something by closing that sandhole.
I was thinking the same thing. Like talk about shoving it in our faces. It makes about as much since as if they told boaters all lakes are off limits but you can follow designated streams that go in a big circle. It's sooo ridiculous. This state needs a privately owned ATV park real bad. Something like Durhamtown Plantation in FL where the state isn't telling us where to ride and making boring trails and keeping us from every fun spot in the forest. I respect what the forest service is doing in protecting the environment but this sucks for the riders.

Has anyone been to Big Scub, or Blue Sink or parked off 19 near the powerlines lately? Just wondering if these might be good meeting spots anymore or if you can even ride there? Used to have a blast riding out there a year ago.

Anyone a Blue Springs fans? We just spent a couple days at the Highbanks Marina and went up and swam in the springs. 72 degree water, tons of fish including the occasional gator. Great place for the family. The first time we went on a vacation with out a motorized off highway vehicle of some kind.
did the same exact thing. rented the pontoon boat and went up river (north) and parked at the sandbar by the park and walked to the spring for a swim. makes for a good day

we need a rain day or 4 before we do a ride there
You got that right. I'll lead a ride there when the dust settles. My weekends are booked till the middle of July. Maybe by then we'll get some rain. I'd be happy to lead a "race pace" ride on my bike or I'll drive the Rhino and cruise. Are there any pits with jumps/hills up that way you might pass by? If so I would go. Rodman pit is too flat.

Yamahas feel like they have more power, but obviously the lt-r has better handling. Havent rode a 450r yet I think they might hit the hardest although all have good power. Again I have only ridden them on the trails all stock.

Okay, that means its my turn...lol
I just picked up my 05, thankfully, no ride time on it. Hopefully no damage yet. Any idea if it is hard to change yourself. That last thing I want to do right now is have it sit at a dealer ship for weeks.
Thanks for the heads up Mark. Hey Eric, wanna go riding? lol
Mike
NO, u didn't just buy another quad. You have no brand loyalty thats for sure
