I remember riding in Bad Luck Prairie in early 2000’s. The good old days!

I am still here but we never rode together I don’t think. Most of the guys I used to ride with including myself sold their bikes.

Me and a buddy have been looking for a place to legally ride in South Florida. Went to the hump years ago but the cops were out there. Not sure its legal.
5  General / Tech Corner / Ever seen this oil color? on: January 19, 2016, 05:21:01 PM
Bought a cheap Yamaha Warrior from 95. Went to drain the oil and it has a greenish tint. Any ideas as to why it looks greenish?

7  General / Tech Corner / Honda 300 brake problems on: January 01, 2010, 04:28:33 PM
Ok this is for my red TRX 300 which has a 250 rear in it. I cant find anything in my 300 manual on this but here goes. My 300 has no front brakes which I have given up on fixing. The rear brake works when I push the lever, in the picture you can see it, forward. My question is this. What can I do to get the emergency brake to work knowing this information? I figure I need to somehow get one of those pieces back inside the lever. Correct? Thanks again for the help guys. I really want to get this thing running!

I legally carry though with my CCW. Illegally where its not allowed. There's another book, which may be the same one you're talking about, that explains all the Florida laws in great detail. Especially the Castle Doctrine.
9  General / Open Discussion / Re: looking on getting your ccw? on: December 14, 2009, 10:44:16 AM
I may be in the minority, but there's a reason why its called concealed carry! No is supposed to know you are carrying regardless of where you are. Take that for what its worth.

Got it! Found one in Miami. Thanks a lot!

Does anyone in South Florida know where I can get the Kreem locally?
12  General / Open Discussion / Re: looking on getting your ccw? on: December 11, 2009, 08:26:03 PM
It has nothing to do with the location. FBI does a background check for the state. Only thing that can make it quicker is getting your fingerprints done electronically versus on paper. Wait time is usually only 4-6 weeks electronically versus 3-6 months with paper prints.

17  General / Tech Corner / Rust inside gas tank! on: December 07, 2009, 09:56:37 AM
I can't for the life of me get the rust out of the inside of my Honda's gas tank. Is there anything else I can try? One bike has a good tank, but I really want to clean this thing up!!!

I have used Ray at Performance ATV before. He is an honest straightforward guy. I will look into Miami Marine as they are closer. These days I do a lot of my own stuff!
19  General / Tech Corner / Re: Questions on my '88 TRX300FW on: December 06, 2009, 10:48:02 PM

20  General / Tech Corner / Questions on my '88 TRX300FW on: December 04, 2009, 05:48:47 PM
Ok finally got everything tuned up, still wont start. There is no spark when I kickstart the bike. I swapped a new coil onto it and tried it also with the old one. Still no spark. Tank was cleaned and filled with 87. New fuel filter. New air filter. New plug. New oil/filter.  Clean carb. Battery works and was charged. The lights turn on. You can read about the electrical problem here: http://forum.highlifter.com/88-300-wont-start-but-has-electricty-m3851268.aspx Thats a whole other issue. I just want you all to see the motor area with the glue, and the rearend. What do you think about it? Has the rearend been swapped in? Looks like the gear oil fill has been cracked. Do you think the motor has been messed with? It has compression. Let me know what you think. This was a $450 buy last weekend.

21  General / Tech Corner / Re: Electrical help on Honda! on: December 04, 2009, 05:09:10 PM
Ok so you think its now on? Why would it be on now and clicking wildly on wednesday? Thanks man!
22  General / Tech Corner / Electrical help on Honda! on: December 04, 2009, 03:28:48 PM
I got a TRX300. I got the bike a week ago. I charged the battery and tried to start it on wednesday. I got a loud clicking coming from the starter solenoid. I was told it could be bad and was also told all the connections could use a good cleaning. I decided to take it all apart and clean the connections. I cleaned them all up put it all together and when I go to connect the ground (negative) which is the last connection, the motor tries to turn over and start. I have never seen this before and it sure as heck wasn't doing it wednesday. What could this possibly be? I am lost with this one. If anyone could post some help or call me up I would appreciate it. 305-934-1430. Thanks, Erick.
23  General / Open Discussion / Miami ATV parts shop on: December 04, 2009, 09:26:53 AM
Ok so I really dont want to go to Gables Motorsports. Is there any other local ATV shops that would carry a '88 TRX300 starter solenoid?
24  General / Photo Gallery & Videos / Re: 2009 Pumpkin Run on: December 04, 2009, 08:31:59 AM
I see some pics with Fire Rescue there. What happened? Did someone get hurt riding like an animal?
