1  General / Open Discussion / Re: Lets keep Christ in CHRISTMAS! on: December 21, 2005, 03:47:44 PM
I am proud of the Christians on this website.  Merry Merry Christ-mas.
Where I have moved to, the judges and attorneys and others all pray at the table, before court and before most anything.  Thank you God.

Please count me in and maybe 4 other people.  I have a little trailer but my sport bike does not pull it.  Let me know if you need an extra trailer.  Actually, if I ride with GSPKurt and Stitch, maybe one of them can pull my trailer.

Thanks QT for the acknowledgement.  I am getting the riding done.  I can't wait for the ladies ride in October of 2007 in Bejing, China.  I am preparing for that ride each weekend.   Smiley

Seed Orchard is awesome.  There were a lot of berms and whoops.   Wink
I love the berms and whoops, they give character to the flat track...  It is like having airplane fuel in your tank, like chocolate syrup on your icecream, like Christmas bonus in July....   Besides I can practice my wheelies and jumping on the whoops and the spinouts off the berms.   Cool

Thanks Kurt for pointing out and clarifying that my husband is in the front and I, the female, is in the back.  You can tell who has the bigger bike though.  LOL  jk.  He is on my bike and I am on my son, Aaron's bike.  Thanks for looking Gery.  Someone cares.

7  General / Open Discussion / Re: PRAYER - 6 year old died on ATV/12 year old driving is in critical condition on: October 07, 2005, 04:07:37 PM
Your prayers were given to the family today and the funeral.  The Father is being strong as he believes in the Lord.  He mentioned to us that his little 6 year old gave her life to Christ everyday.  It is going to be rough for them.  The Father thanks you whole-heartedly.

Chillin'  I would love to help out even though my friends will not be able to go on the 29th.  Nov 5th is better for them.  I still help if you need help.           GSPKurt our friends cannot do it on the 29th.
9  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: Anyone for 10/09/05 ONF? on: October 07, 2005, 09:38:12 AM
Hey Chino, welcome.  Rode and spoke with you on the Juggalo Warrior ride for a bit.  Glad to see you are finally a member.  There is a small group of us riding on Sunday, not sure where we are going in ONF as yet.  We are taking a first timer, so this will be a slower ride than usual.         QT  I am getting in some go slow time experience.  I need to work on my speed again.
10  General / Open Discussion / Re: PRAYERS NEEDED! on: October 07, 2005, 09:20:37 AM
I hope I am reading this with enough time to throw in my prayers as well.  My entire family is praying for you all.  We are giving a general prayer of strength, peace and healing, since we are uncertain of the situation.  God is Awesome.  God's Blessings to you all.  It is so wonderful to hear so many people praising God's name.

As was nicely expressed earlier by SKYHIGH ....
""Stay strong guys... every cloud has a silver lining, some just take a little longer to come to the surface.""  I never heard that put so nicely.  I hope you dont mind if I use your phrase once in a while.
11  General / Open Discussion / Re: PRAYER - 6 year old died on ATV/12 year old driving is in critical condition on: October 06, 2005, 01:11:51 PM
Thank you all for your prayers.  I will be taking all of your prayers to the funeral tomorrow.   God Bless you all.
12  General / Open Discussion / Re: New member QT's friend: RideItLikeA_4d on: October 06, 2005, 11:56:54 AM
Welcome RideIt...   Glad I am not the lowest member on the totem pole now.   Hey QT, are you riding this weekend???  Silly question, I am sure you are.  Hope to see you out there.  Going to ONF this weekend I hope.
13  General / Tech Corner / Re: Need help getting bike tuned up on: October 06, 2005, 11:38:16 AM
Sorry for the slow response time.  I have not be online the last few days.  Palmetto Motorsports Miami (305) 557-1311 (a little expensive) but is one of the best places in Miami for honesty and consideration.  I know of a few individuals that fix bikes on the side down there, but I would have to contact them first.
In Broward,  call
Champion (954) 236-5559  Marco Martinez owner he has good workers and sometimes you can get them to work on the side. (hush hush, of course)  The owner is a decent guy.
Broward Motorsports 467-0990
competition cycles, i do not remember the number.  if you need it, it is on Old Griffin Road.
If I lived down there still I would offer to help you out, my boys and I do that stuff to our bikes.  In fact, my sons have overhauled a 900 Kawi and tuned up and done all kinds of stuff to my 750 Ninja.
Let me know how it goes.

Thanks Loven It for posting the site to the accident reported in the news.  That is exactly what the family told us too.  So horrible.  I cant imagine.
15  General / Open Discussion / Re: PRAYER - 6 year old died on ATV/12 year old driving is in critical condition on: October 04, 2005, 12:50:09 PM
GSPKurt, This is a different accident.  I know, its crazy.  Two accidents in one week and we know both families.  It is tragic.  The one we were telling you about this weekend was about Jeffrey Strickland (from Bell) (who he and his family need PRAYERS as well).  Jeffrey and a vehicle collided.  Still not sure of the details.  He is in critical condition still as well. (serious head injuries)  This 6 year old is from a family we know at Augie's work.    The 12 year old is a friend of the family.  They were riding without gear on his 80 acre+ estate (12 year old driving with 6 year old on back)  They did not come back and he went looking for them and found them under the bike.  He tried to revive his 6 year old without any success.  The crazy thing is that he is a very very very safety first type guy.   DEAR GOD, PRAYERS FOR PEACE AND STRENGTH FOR THESE POOR FAMILIES!!!
16  General / Open Discussion / PRAYER - 6 year old died on ATV/12 year old driving is in critical condition on: October 04, 2005, 10:04:45 AM
PRAYERS FOR ALL INVOLVED.  Acquaintances of mine have lost their 6 year old in an ATV accident.  The situation is horrible and painful. It could have been prevented.  We all think sometimes, "oh that won't happen to me" and we have to suffer the consequences of our actions if it does.  However, all these parents and family members need our prayers no matter whose fault this terrible accident is blamed on.  The 12 year old is in critical condition with no life-threatening complications.  You all can probably figure out the accident just by the players involved.  These parents need forgiveness and prayers.  They are suffering the consequences of their actions.  We all need to learn from these useless accidents.  We can choose to be negligent for ourselves, but we must be responsible for the little ones that dont know what the right choices are yet.

I will probably be going.  Is there going to be two groups, sports and utilities or are we riding together in a big group?

You can count on my crew for help.  Keep us updated on this and future effort(s).  I am glad there are good people out there doing great things.

Shocked   Sorry we missed riding with you all.  But we did get to see some of you and test out a bike for a few minutes before we moved on to the secret riding place for the day.  Thanks to GSPKurt, we had a great time.  Wish we would have rode with all of you, but we needed to give the newbies and the younger children a slower than group ride experience.  We had a great time with you guys last weekend and hope to ride again on a speed ride.  GSPKurt took us on a great ride and it was beautiful, you can actually see the scenery when you go slow.  I dont remember what anything looked like from last weeks Juggalo ride.  All I remember it was fast and fun.  Cant wait for another one of those.  As for the dirt bikes, we had two in our group.  The younger one was having a hard time but really gave him some great experience.  I for one, switched with my friend that has a Honda 230 and I had a blast slip slidding in the sand and dirt and mud in the forest.  I think dirt bikes can be a blast in the forest, but they are more work, gave me a better workout.  None of our group got hurt (thank God) and we all had fun.  Sorry we did not ride with the group.  Thanks Jaskel for bringing your bike for me to test drive.  We will see you again in two weeks.  Thanks.   QT, someone in our group said they saw you and that you were riding fast through the trails.  Wish I could have been there.  I guess your bike is doing much better.  See you all next ride.

I want to go to Jasper and Alapaha!!! Huh  Which is closer?  Dang nabit GSPKurt, you know how I feel about taking care of the ranch on the weekends and, of course, I have not been able to do that since going on rides with you and ATVFlorida for those great group rides every weekend since Juggalo Warrior's ride.  I need to do some work on the ranch someday, thank God that winter is coming and the grass may not grow as fast, makes it easier to go on rides then.  I have to keep the trials and race track clear at Highley MX Park also.
Thanks to you Kurt, I have become an ATVjunkie.
Of course, I dont mind wherever we go, I will go with you and Stitch.  Great ride Sat at our secret riding spot.

Yeah, I saw that, but what about the fall?   just joking.  Great photos and Great job on the guiding.  We all had a great time Trail Boss.
I am so proud of Donna/Stitch and AJ.

I want to go.  I am sure that my friends will want to go with their yunguns.  We adults can give a little for the kids and go slow for them.  Some of them youngsters can go faster than us.   Grin   I am in as a chaperoun
23  General / Open Discussion / Re: Warning: South Miami, Red Lands, Homestead and Florida City(Krome Area) on: October 03, 2005, 09:59:55 AM
Wow, I used to have a home in the Redlands just before Andrew.  Cry  I am not surprised the city has taken over.  It used to be vacant land all over the place down there.  Sorry to hear it has come to that.  We used to be able to practice shooting out there too.  (years ago, late 80's)

It was awesome.  I will get my photos developed and have you post them for me.  What a great time we had.  Hey, where is the picture of me on the motorcycle?  Great job on the guiding Kurt.  Stitch you did a great job.  Where is the pic of me doing a wheelie or a smooth fall
