1  General / Open Discussion / Re: Wilma!!!! Cat 5! on: November 16, 2005, 06:21:59 AM
the storm turned out to be weak, but a tornado did some damage to my apartment complex
2  General / Open Discussion / Re: jarhead on: November 16, 2005, 06:20:36 AM
I haven't personally seen it; however,a couple of friends have said they weren't impressed.
3  General / Open Discussion / Re: new tires for Grizzly on: November 16, 2005, 06:19:14 AM
My Mud Lites have kept me happy
4  General / Tech Corner / Re: 660 Grizz wouldn't start after bath on: October 26, 2005, 04:15:41 AM
Do you think the pressure washing had anything to do with it?
5  General / Open Discussion / Re: Wilma!!!! Cat 5! on: October 26, 2005, 04:10:02 AM
I think the Cat 5 ... 175 MPH wind comment was a tad bit of an exageration....  It didn't hit anywhere close to that
6  General / Open Discussion / Re: Blonde *Star* on: October 26, 2005, 04:05:15 AM
LOL!    I'm passing that one along to some friends
7  General / Tech Corner / Re: tire size and a loss in performance help on: October 24, 2005, 06:40:15 AM
I have 26" Mud Lites on a 500 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO.  Only power mod so far is a K & N air filter.

The bike seems to still have plenty of power and thanks to the tires, i rarely need to take it out of 2 WD.
8  General / Open Discussion / Re: Wilma. Who has power? on: October 24, 2005, 06:36:09 AM
Still have power in Southern Brevard County but the winds are starting to pick up some.
9  General / Open Discussion / Re: Is it legal? on: October 05, 2005, 03:58:32 AM
There are some useful ideas on here, LISTEN to some of them.

Taking money from people who want to help hurricane victims & putting it in your pocket is pathetic, fraud, illegal, etc...
10  General / Open Discussion / Re: 750 Brute Force...what'cha think bout it? on: October 03, 2005, 06:28:15 AM
That's true, every brand has its quirks that you learn to live with......  none are immune to that
11  General / Open Discussion / Re: a good question on: September 27, 2005, 04:21:37 AM
SKYHighT100........   in response to your statement that seat belt laws are simply the government taking away more freedom.

I can assume that you are a far left wing liberal and are still upset that Kerry lost the election.  Please consider what function the seat belt serves and how many lives would be lost if it were not worn.  I have personally  been a first responder and saw a man take his last breath because he wasn't belted and was slung around the inside of the car.
12  General / Open Discussion / Re: Gas Prices on: September 27, 2005, 04:16:25 AM
No doubt, it's sad when you have to put around 15 bucks in the atv just to go riding and a few extra dollars in the truck to haul it but it's worth it to me and the gas prices haven't slowed me down at all!!
13  General / Open Discussion / Re: Cuncussion Question! on: September 27, 2005, 04:12:24 AM
I've had 3 of them (1 severe, 2 mild)....  if your 5th one was as bad as my first one then you might have pain & headaches for several weeks...  but you should see a doctor.
14  General / Open Discussion / Re: which 4x4 to buy on: September 27, 2005, 04:08:30 AM
I love my '04 Sportsman 500 HO.  Goes through some deep water & w/ the new tires (mud lites) mud isn't a problem either.  Just over 50 hours & so far so good.
15  General / Open Discussion / Re: moving out of crapy south fl on: September 27, 2005, 03:58:43 AM
Now I'm jealous of ya Rancher....   I moved down here to FL 5 years ago.. I lived just outside of Beckley, WV.  Quad riding is a little different w/ the hills to negotiate (be careful with that) but riding is so much better up there.   I agree w/ the prior post, can't beat the available hunting & fishing.

Enjoy & let me know what ya think about the state.  Just get ready for the jokes!
16  General / Open Discussion / Re: 750 Brute Force...what'cha think bout it? on: September 26, 2005, 03:41:16 AM
no doubt, shrapnel is a higher priority then tie rods........

Well, so far I'm gathering that it is uncontested that the Brute Force 750 is a very powerful machine that will run fast and pull a wheelie.  However; some of you aren't as thrilled with it's durability or off road capabilities?
17  General / Open Discussion / Re: 750 Brute Force...what'cha think bout it? on: September 21, 2005, 08:26:48 PM
Thx pauly...
18  General / Open Discussion / Re: 750 Brute Force...what'cha think bout it? on: September 21, 2005, 01:39:12 AM
Thanks for the input received so far!

Any other comments out there?
19  General / Open Discussion / Re: 30 inch mudlites on: September 20, 2005, 05:00:14 AM
My 26 inchers work just fine!

It's a great tire
20  General / Open Discussion / Re: Hockey on: September 20, 2005, 04:58:59 AM
Yeah, it's about time they got started again.  I've been a hockey fan for a long time; shout out to Aves and Blues; however it has been very discouraging to see that greed has infiltrated this sport.

To miss an entire season because millionaire athletes want more money, that really curbed my enthusiasm.
21  General / Open Discussion / 750 Brute Force...what'cha think bout it? on: September 20, 2005, 04:57:13 AM
Hey,

A buddy of mine is looking to move up from his Yamaha 450 to a Kawasaki Brute Force 750  4x4.

For all of you who have those machines.... I'd appreciate some feedback... good, bad & indifferent.   What do you like about it & what really bugs ya or has been a problem.

Thanks!!
22  General / Open Discussion / Re: Gas Prices on: September 04, 2005, 12:36:56 AM
i don't mind the higher gas prices because I only use so much on the ATV; it's just putting the gas in my truck and hauling the trailer which is a painful expense
23  General / Tech Corner / Re: Tires on: August 22, 2005, 01:32:21 PM
My Mud Lites have been good to me!
24  General / Open Discussion / Re: I may be getting a new job on: August 12, 2005, 04:30:39 AM
Hey outlaw checkout this site for a nice job.  www.navy.com

dude i would never join the navy they send me sh*t all the time in the mail.  I really dont want to die.

Extreme liberal mindsets such as these make me sick to my stomach.  That is such a small minded comment to make to about our armed forces and the proud men and women who are a part of them.
25  General / Open Discussion / Where to rent ATV's? on: August 08, 2005, 03:16:30 AM
Hey guys,

One of my friends is "saving up" to get an ATV to join the rest of us but he would occasionally like to go out on the trails before then.

Do you know of anywhere in the South or Central end of Brevard County that rents ATV's?
