1  General / Tech Corner / Need help with tires for my polaris on: December 03, 2006, 12:52:49 PM
I have an 04 Polaris Twin 600 and want to know what the biggest tires are I can put on it with out a lift kit. I plan on getting a lift kit in the future regardless but if it comes down to new wheels and mud tires or a lift kit i'm going for the wheels and tires first. I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Finally decided on some 27" Mudbugs on ITP 7 series wheels (I think???).
3  General / Open Discussion / Re: suggestions/opinions on some mud tires for my ute on: October 17, 2006, 05:01:04 AM
Alright, well I have narrowed it down to mudzillas, 589's, or mudbugs.

Thanks for the input. The members of this sight have again come through for me. I'll be looking for some more advice in the near future in regards to a winch and a snorkel.
5  General / Open Discussion / suggestions/opinions on some mud tires for my ute on: October 15, 2006, 10:59:40 AM
I didn't know whether to put this in here or the technical thread but anyway, I just purchased an 04 polaris twin 600 that is bone stock except for a k&n filter. I have a 2" high lifter lift kit already on the way and am now trying to decide what mudtires to get. I will be riding mainly in NC and am not a 100% mudder. I'm more like a 60% mudder and 40% trail rider/recreational riding (that 40% is when my wife is on it). I like the swamplites and the mudlites in the 27" but I am new to the whole ute scene and am just looking for some opinions, suggestions, and/or recommendations. I appreciate any and all input.
6  General / Tech Corner / Re: Lift Kit for 04 Polaris Twin 600 on: October 14, 2006, 04:16:28 PM
Yeah, i'm just looking for the 2" lift for some good mud tires to fit on it. I've seen a lot of people with hi-lifter kits and have read up on them but haven't heard "real" comments about them. Thanks for the info though. I'll also be looking for some snorkel help soon too but that will be a different thread.
7  General / Tech Corner / Lift Kit for 04 Polaris Twin 600 on: October 14, 2006, 03:51:16 PM
Just wanted to get some opinions and suggestions on some good quality lift kits to choose from to put on this thing.
8  General / Open Discussion / I'll be in touch next time from Iraq on: October 18, 2005, 08:43:31 AM
Alright everybody, I leave next week for my second tour in Iraq. I want to thank everybody on this sight who has helped me in any way since i've been a member whether it be just some helpful advice or showing up at Ocala to ride or at seminole when my quad only lasted about 4 laps but Dreth and the ATP guy (sorry I can't remember everybody's names) did everything they could to get me back on the track. Tony (T2), thanks again for getting the Ocala trip together. It was a blast. Steve, thanks for the spacers man and good luck on the track. Dreth, thanks for the shirt, i'm wearing it out and thanks again for the help at the track. QT, Z400stunter, AsphaultDragon, Honda 328i, Chuck_Norris, and everybody else that I met while I was home on leave I want to say the pleasure was mine and I look forward to riding with y'all in a little over a year when i'm back from the desert. Talk to y'all later, Patrick

here's my 96. I bought it used but the dude had totally rebuilt it before he had to sell it due to a back injury. His loss, my gain I guess, but it's down right now due to a bad stator but ATP is hooking me up with a new one at a heck of a good price.

Cool man, i'll call you as soon as I get up which will be about 7. Is 30 minutes enough time to get ready and meet us?
12  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: Seminole MX 10/1 Final Details on: September 30, 2005, 03:47:09 PM
Hey Z400stunter, we'll be leaving around 7:30. If you want to we can meet at the same spot as last weekend. I'm pumped for this ride. I'm looking for some air this time but we'll see.

If others want to do it, i'm down for a little bbq action. I'll bring some chips and hotdogs and buns if anyone else wants to pitch in and bring some other stuff just list it and we'll get this thing organized.

Can anybody tell me where the wires go from the switch to the quad? I bought this thing used with no instructions but couldn't pass up the deal.

19  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: Group Ride in ONF for Juggalo_Warrior on: September 26, 2005, 04:56:02 PM
I could go on and on thanking everybody but I will just sum it all up by saying a BIG "THANK YOU" to everybody that came out or even tried to but couldn't make it (it's the thought that counts). This sight has a great bunch of folks on it and I met a bunch of them today. You guys are great. I will always be a member of this sight no matter where the army takes me. Thanks and I will see ya on the trails, Patrick aka Juggalo Warrior
20  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: Group Ride in ONF for Juggalo_Warrior on: September 19, 2005, 02:16:29 PM
I'm heading up saturday morning (about 8:00) to get a little bit of riding in during the afternoon. I'm going to go to the same spot that we are meeting at on sunday. I will have my parents with me on saturday to let them piddle around on it.

Hey z, It's a 96 warrior. It's just still new to me cause I haven't been home to ride it since I bought it. I'll pm ya on friday to try and set up the time on saturday to leave. My parents made reservations at the hampton inn in camp dora though so no camping for me. I'll get enough in the dessert during the upcoming year though so sleeping in A/C will be nice.
21  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: Group Ride in ONF for Juggalo_Warrior on: September 19, 2005, 11:14:19 AM
Hey z400 (and anyone else in naples area), When I get in town on friday I will post on here and if you want to give me your number I will call you and we will try to set up for leaving saturday at the same time and caravanning unless you were planning on leaving earlier than 8 cause thats about the time I think we were planning on leaving. I was just going to be doing some easy riding Saturday cause it will be the first time i've riden my new quad (ever)! and my first time back on a quad in about ten years.
22  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: Seminole Tribe Sept. 29th on: September 16, 2005, 12:10:39 PM
Hey backinsaddle, You may already know this but just in case, they charge rider fee's for each rider not for each machine(according to their website). just some of fyi, look forward to seing you there, Patrick
23  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: Group Ride in ONF for Juggalo_Warrior on: September 15, 2005, 02:29:55 PM
Hey z400, we were planning on leaving about 8 and my parentts just informed me they made reservations at the hampton inn in camp dora just up the road. I knew they couldn't handle roughin it for one night and imagine, I slept in a tent with 10 other guys for a whole year in the middle of the dessert. I guess in some ways the apple does fall far from the tree. let me know if you want to caravan.
24  General / Open Discussion / NEED SOME QUAD HELP!! on: September 14, 2005, 03:53:21 PM
I've got a rear skid plate for my warrior but need the nuts and bolts to mount it. Does anybody know what size they are so I can get some from the hardware store so I then can mount this thing as soon as I get in town next week. Thanks, Patrick
25  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: Group Ride in ONF for Juggalo_Warrior on: September 13, 2005, 01:53:59 PM
Well for anybody that was wanting to or thinking about going up on saturday and staying the night, I will be going up in the morning getting there about noon or so since my dad managed to get that day off now. I plan on heading out to our agreed upon sunday spot with my parents around 2 or so just to piddle around on the quad and let my mom and pop try it out. So if anyone is getting there early and wants to meet us out there we'll be the 3 looking like we are on a sunday drive. This way sunday I will be more warmed up to go b@ll$ out and get a little crazy(but just a little).
