No bottles is not a problem for me.  I like cans.  You can crush them so they don't roll back and fourth when the cop pulls you over.

It's not that I don't like or appreciate generators.  I just don't have one or an RV yet.  So until then it's sleeping in the truck w/ the A/C cranking.

Keep in mind that it actually cools down in that part of the state at night, unlike down here.  The average low is 73 in august.  Check it out.

So us po folks who don't have an RV won't be suffering at least at night.  HEY, I'm thinkin we need to score a bunch of kiddie pools from wal mart. Grin

How do I find it if I am coming from the other direction?  West or east of Okeechobee on SR 70?  I'll probably be coming down from Lorida(98 east of Sebring)

Hey, I know I'm jumping in a little late here but I think I can help...

I can whip up a bulliten board like this one that is private i.e. not listed anywhere and moderate it as we please.  Since there seems to be so many scheduling conflicts, this may be the way to handle it as opposed to live chat.  I actually already have one that I was throwing together for a local atv club I was trying to start up.  I can do websites also.  I have webspace I get through my university that I can direct twards this effort.  Oh yeah, I can do databases too.  BTW I am a computer engineering student if you were wondering.

Just to throw another idea in the ring(because y'all don't seem to have enough.)  Down here in Davie, FL there is a weekly car show with lots of traffic in a parking lot every friday night.  This may be a good place for a show and shine.  Maybe there are events like this elsewhere?  Maybe a good place to recruit support?

QT314, I'll PM you my contact info.

I've driven by those red, white, and blue poles at least 100 times going from boca to sebring and had no idea that there was an atv park in there.  Hopefully I will se y'all there. Wink

Yeah, ONF sounds awesome.  It was just recently that I found out that it is ATV friendly.  Definitly need to make a trip there.

Nothing special, just my toy hauler.  96 ram 1500.  Would love to have a musclecar, but they just don't haul trailers well enough for me.  Good to see some more interest though, especially from a fellow gearhead.

I'm working on slapping up a website on some webspace I get through my university.  I'll post it up here when it is close 'nuff to finished.  Gonna take a lil while being that I have no editing software so I am punching out the html from scratch.

well, not much response so far.  I'm gonna hit up a bunch of forums and see what I can stir up and let ya know.

I'm looking to start an atv club in Se Florida aimed at persons or families to go trail riding or mud riding. As you know, our resources for OHVs are scarce down here. The club would be a means for trips and meetings as well as sharing resources. No dues or anything like that of course. If I can drum up some interest I will give it a go. BTW I also have a 200 acre ranch in central florida that gets all nasty in the summer, but I have to be careful who goes because it is a busness with liability issues and the club would be a means of doing that. Let me know. Feel free to post if you have any questions and be sure to post if you are interested!!!    Cheesy

Hey, I was just browsin around lookin for places to ride and I see alot of interest here.  Any interest in creating a club?  Maybe somethin like SE Fla ATV Club?  Kind of a family oriented deal with no dues where we can share resources and go riding together as well as weed out anyone who is dangerous.  I am assuming that there are no other clubs out there, but if I can drum up enough interest I would be willing to start one.  I also run a 200 acre cattle ranch in central florida and maybe after a few rides to feel everyone out, we can have a roadtrip.  I do need to be cautious because it is a busness.  If y'all think it is a good idea, i'll start a new thread and go from there.
