General / Product and Services Reviews / Re: Stay away from Baja series @ Pep Boys

I have had SEVERAL of the Pep Boys four wheelers in the shop since Christmas. Alot of people that bought them in December are having problems and Pep Boys won't touch the bikes nor do anything for the customers. Getting parts from Baja is like pulling teeth. I don't see why people by quads from an auto parts store. Good luck with your 90!

Anyone know of an adjustable rev limiter on these things or do they all just crawl at 10 MPH?

4-5 of air ...............................I can sure see that That's IT! OK - it's 3 inches. Next time, I am going to have someone stand right next the the quad with a tape measure!

Where would that place be located at??
If I posted that info here.... Everyone would go and it would only last a few more weeks. But, if you wanted to meet up before I go out, PM me, and you can follow me out.

Looks like about 1 or 2 feet on the 450r.
Yea, like I said.. You can't really tell. Notice the pic I took was a clear shot of my kid brother-in-law, with some air underneath him. He might as well have been standing on a ladder with the pic he took of me! I guess I have to teach him how to take a picture as well.

Here is me (on the TRX450R) and my brother-in-law (on the KTM 125) doing a couple of jumps out at the East Rd and County Line Rd area. You can't really tell, but both of us are about 4 to 5 feet in the air.

no way you could enforce it..... who is going to stop you from going the wrong way? a traffic cop out there? i don't think so....
if they just leveled the main paths, that would help alot... if they set specific areas for experience levels, that would be even better....

I live 10 minutes from Croom, but I would rather drive to ONF than go to Croom. If you like whoops (and I mean you better like them), go to Croom. If you want to open up your bike and never have to ride the same trail twice, go to ONF. I just got back from Big Scrub today and it was a blast. Plus, Croom is too crowded this time of year.

we already have a redneck that rules the world. GWB is from Texas, wears boots and Wranglers, and is the president of the most powerful nation on earth.
If Willie was president, nothing would get accomplished. 'cept legalizing the whacky weedy.

Anybody staying overnight? I will make a run out there in my cow Jeep to meet ya'll after I am done helping the 4-H out at Umatilla's Fall Festival. I work 7-4 Sat and Sunday in the seafood Dept. at Publix at SR 19 and 44. Oh wait, dh will have the Jeep at Jeeptoberfest in Ocala. I can take the Silverado though.
Thought about camping out. But, since I am only an hour away, I will just drive out in the morning. See ya there. I might take my horse-jeep, but probably just drive the Explorer.
