soory i missed it. NOT.   way to many new cowboy hats and gay people there.

Exactly!  It surely aint what it use to be that's for sure....  The last time we went was about 2 years ago, and thought he performers were great, the ppl in my opinion were jacka$$, a bunch of wanna be's...  Then you hear 99.9 playing freakin rap music at a country event, that was enough for me.

4  General / Open Discussion / Re: Mortgage Rates on: December 17, 2008, 04:13:48 PM
The 30 yr fixed rate opened today at 4.875%. If you are anywhere in the 6's or higher then it may be in your best interest to contact me NOW.

All I can say, is damn!!! Never heard of...  I really didn't think the rates would fall, hoping they would, but wow that has to be a record low, has to be....
5  General / Open Discussion / Re: can you be 17 and co sigh on a title??? on: December 11, 2008, 04:51:18 PM
I would co-sign, just for the fact, it will help you to establish credit.  But as said, you are under 18, therefore, you can NOT be bound to any contract, whether it be verbal or written.  Therefore, you can only co-sign, and heck now-a-days, the may not even do that, just for the fact your under 18.  She will be the one FINANCIAL RESPONSIBLE until you are 18, although you are making the payments.

But there are ways that you can get your name on the title, and/or loan documents, then once your turn 18 everything can be switched to you....

Keep in mind one thing, cool grandma....  Some would not take that chance, so consider it a blessing.... Wink
6  General / Open Discussion / Re: What ATV's do your kids ride and is it the legal size on: December 11, 2008, 04:45:09 PM
My son just turned 10, and rides a Honda 400, for just about a year now.  He was over powering his 90, it was just crazy to keep him on it.  He does really good, kids just MUST know the rules.  He is really good, and cautious rider, I would hope it's because he respects what it can do to him, but it could just be that he also knows, in no uncertain terms, goof off, you are done, ATV is gone...   Wink

I look at it this way, and I have yes, I have said this before, but anyway.  At 7 years old I started Barrel Racing Horses, rode horses from the time I was three.  Been bucked off, thrown into a tree, rubbed off, fell on, kicked, stepped on....  all things an ATV can't do, my point is, riding something that has a mind of it own, and riding something that you have total control of, I would say that ATV is much safer, you must just teach respect!
7  General / Open Discussion / This is good... on: December 08, 2008, 07:35:14 PM
Actually my son found this looking for Hank Jr....  Thought I would share!!!

Go Hank!!!
8  General / Open Discussion / Re: MOLD! on: November 26, 2008, 09:15:29 AM
When we had our old AC replaced, OMG it was scary the crap I saw in there.  They replaced it all, but dang.  Now I also run room purifiers, they also have some type of ulra-violet light that you can run near your AC that is suppose to kill the mold, but don't know.  But if you get the right kind are purifier, the have some that actually gets the mold, before it settles.  I hear in Fla it can be bad, because of the heat & humity, esp in the attacks.  I would look into your roof vents too, I hear, don't know, but if you have bad ventilation in your attack, it creates moisture, which creates, mold.  Replaced our vents, and seems to be better.  I think the new AC unit also has alot to do w/it though too....

13  General / Open Discussion / Re: Post up your stereo system on: November 16, 2008, 02:09:17 PM
My Babies got 38 watts of ear poppin power. It goes to one of those 6' tall speakers where only 2 out of the 4 speakers work in it.The other speaker is one from a car oval 6x9 I believe packed in an old seat cushion with duct tape for that thumpin base.

Sign me up, where do I get one.... Wink

15  General / Open Discussion / Re: went to a gun show to day and it was incredibly packed lots of scared people on: November 16, 2008, 10:54:00 AM
I have heard alot of the same.... And thanks for sharing....  Hey perhaps the gun sales will boost the economy, just a joke folks, but it would be nice.  I was at the races last night, and I heard a lot of chatter too, people are concerned, not only about this but what might happen.  I know this topic will probably get moved to political, but from I was hearing last night, is ppl are worried that someone might make an attempt on Obama's life, and that will cause riots and stuff.

I for one did not vote for the man, nor do I agree where he stands on various issues, such as Gun Control.  But I surely do not want to see any attempt on his life, he is our President elect, and like it our not.  PPL wanting to make an attempt on his life will not solve anything, it will only make matters worse.

But I will say what I heard last night from ppl, was that they were concerned.... And they are taking measures to ensure their family would be safe, and that is really a sad day in America.....

16  General / Where to Ride? / Re: Ban on 4 wheelers in Suburban Estates? on: November 14, 2008, 11:50:58 AM
I think the State has bigger things to worry about right now.....like their budget

How much do you think it cost the County to send the Specialized Fire Trucks out there?

How much do you think is cost the County every time it sends Life Flight out there, and the person ain't insured?

Now how much do you pay in property taxes out there, dude, do the math, that alone should give ppl something to be concerned about.  And unless and until ppl stop using it as a "recreational ATV" place, which it is not, it is just putting SE further and further in the spot light.

SE is basically recreational hunting area, that is what it truly is.  And the sooner it gets back to that, the better, in my opinion....
17  General / Where to Ride? / Re: Ban on 4 wheelers in Suburban Estates? on: November 13, 2008, 04:43:38 PM
Also to add this...  Recently a HUGE chunk of land was purchased, and redefined as "Florida Wet-Lands".  And besides the fact the State of Fla has been after that for years....

Don't kid yourselves ppl, between the State of Florida and all the accidents out there, nothing would surprise me.  I do know the State of Fla would want nothing more then to ban 4-wheelers out there.  Am I pist, nope, why.  Because we have no-one to blame but ourselves.  Grant it, we may not be the ones hauling butt out there, tearing the place up, and throw our trash all over the place, but to the State it is all the same.  Just another example of how PEOPLE can ruin it for other people.

It keeps going the way it is, either the hunters will run all the 4-wheelers out of there, or the State, which ever comes first.  Because that land has been so disrespected, that it just disgusting....
18  General / Where to Ride? / Re: Ban on 4 wheelers in Suburban Estates? on: November 13, 2008, 04:25:49 PM
I do know that two weeks ago, two more people were airlifted out of there.  Two four-wheelers, head on, on the south-end.  Never heard how the people were doing, but I know that speed, yet again, was a factor.  One can never tell what the County could do, with all the Life Flights that been going on in there lately, nothing would surprise me.

AS you know, I think that is just awesome... Oh how I miss those days....  It is great to be a kid, and in a Parade, and even better yet, on the back of a horse, but best yet....  Support our troops, and your love ones!!! WTG!!!
22  General / Open Discussion / Re: Shout Out to our TROOPS & all VETERANS!! on: November 11, 2008, 06:36:01 PM
Awesome Pics Bush!!!!

BTW this is Veterans Day, and our current Troops serve under Bush, and just perhaps they don't feel the way you do, so no offense, but please keep Politics out of this Post.  That is why I posted it under the Open Forum.  This day has nothing to do with Politics, but everything to do with the VERY BRAVE men & women that served, and serve this Country.  Thanks Cool
23  General / Open Discussion / Re: Shout Out to our TROOPS & all VETERANS!! on: November 11, 2008, 02:34:40 PM
Yes! Support them and pray for them to all come home safely.  I am the proud sister of Captain Melissa Blondin, US Army.  She is pictured here with my daughters when she came home from her 2nd tour in Iraq.

THAT IS AWESOME...  God Bless her, and every troop!!! Wink
