hate to do what?

Id@

I did a search for the stuff I was trying to find but couldn't find it, I'm sure everybody is sick of answering questions about Ocala.  I may be wrong, wouldn't be the first time.

So where is the best place to unload the trailers from where we are staying. Dunno

I won't tell the wife about that, she may have them all gone before anybody gets any.
5  General / Open Discussion / Re: Motoplex January Feature Weekend Flyer on: December 11, 2007, 12:13:01 PM
What is the nearest town to Motoplex, so I can mapquest?  I see that it is on the other side of Tallahasse but don't know how far.

Are pop-up campers allowed?

It is just south of Madison. A little east of Live Oak.

Pop up campers are fine, we allow free camping at our feature weekends.  Grin

You supply all the beer as well? Grin

Sometime between Christmas and New years me my daughter and a few friends are thinking about going to Ocala.  We are staying at my dad's trailer at Lake Bryant camp ground.  Where is the closest place to ride the forest from there.  We will also have a cabin at the Mill Damn camp ground right before you get to the forest out of Silver Springs I think,
Thanks for the help, and any heads up and points of interest around the area would be greatly appreciated as well.

8  General / Open Discussion / Re: beaver shot of the day!!! on: December 05, 2007, 12:34:11 PM
An 86-year-old man went to his doctor for his quarterly check-up...

The doctor asked him how he was feeling, and the
86-year-old said ,'Things are great and I've never felt better.'

I now have a 20 year-old bride who is pregnant with my child.

"So what do you think about that Doc ?"

The doctor considered his question for a minute and
then began to tell a story.

"I have an older friend , much like you, who is an avid hunter
and never misses a season."

One day he was setting off to go hunting.

In a bit of a hurry , he accidentally picked up his walking cane instead of his gun."

"As he neared a lake , he came across a very large male beaver sitting at the water's edge.

He realized he'd left his gun at home and so he couldn't shoot the magnificent creature.

Out of habit he raised his cane , aimed it at the animal as if

it were his favorite hunting rifle and went 'bang, bang'."

"Miraculously , two shots rang out and the beaver fell over dead.

Now, what do you think of that ?" asked the doctor.

The 86-year-old said ,
"Logic would strongly suggest that somebody else

pumped a couple of rounds into that beaver."

The doctor replied , "My point exactly."

12  General / Open Discussion / Re: changed**** when will someone win the raffle for the rhino at l-cross???? on: November 19, 2007, 01:20:37 PM
And still no response from them.....go figure.

I went to one of their adult events and the owner's son's girlfriend was awarded 1st prize for the wet t-shirt contest.......LOL.    I'm sure they'll do the same with this infamous "raffle"

First off, would like to see some pictures of said wet t-shirt contest.

Secondly, I have never been to L-cross, would I go now knowing about the raffle mishap?  Probably not, nor are the 10 other guys/gals that I ride with in our area.  I would like to hear the other side of the story, but as witnessed probably ain't going to happen.  So I wish all those involved in the raffle good luck in recovering your monies.

I saw on their website that they still need to sell 100 golden tickets.

I was signing up for this board when I had a salesman come in and try to sell the company insurance or something like that, our secretary told him that I was out to lunch.

She then came back and said for the amount of work that I do, it feels like your always out to lunch. No raise for her anytime soon.

I got my nine year old on a 50cc yamaha when she was eight, she will be upgrading next year (if mom lets me since she just got accepted to nwf ballet school).  Then I can get my three year old son started on her old 50.  Not sure what size I will get my daughter

Drunk:  hold on I got to pee.

That was the funniest thing I've seen in awhile.

What is pervaran marching powder. I don't put that on my boy's now do I.

C-dust, c-game, cabello, caine, california cornflakes, double bubble, florida snow, friskie powder, mama coca, nose powder.  Just slang for cocaine.  Seems like everybody in Vegas is offering you something, last time I was there even some of the Black Jack dealers were offering it to me.

The palms pool during the day, some real good senery to be had.  All the clubs get rocking at about 4am.  So if you are into the night life, hang by any of the big casino's pools all day, get plently of rest and party all night.  Unless you like pervaran marching powder then you can party all day and night.

If you like real big crowds of party people the Rio's club is good.

Mandalay Bay is a good casino to hang out in, plenty of celebs hang out there.

It's been a few years since I've been, got married at the Shalimar wedding chapel, five years ago.

If you go to Treasure Island, go to the crabs table and look for a guy named Prez, tell him Blair from WI said Hi. He works nights, off Sunday and Monday

If you go to Paris casino, look for a women named Jodi and tell her the same, however she may tell you to get out of their.

Collect alot of pamphlets from the vendors, and bring them back for survinors for all your male friends.

acctually i retract my previous statment, and introduce a new one...

i think i could roller blade backwards through mud faster than a rincon

I've got the 680 rincon, it's a good machine.  Granted most of my riding is on trails, since it's still stock.  I only have around fifty hours so can't really give you any good nor bad.  I do have to say it is a pretty fast machine, but then again I never saw you on roller blades so I can't say if I'd win or not.

www.ginniespringsoutdoors.com

they don't mind quiet quads to go to the restroom/showers or the little sandwich shop, don't know how they would feel if you brought a trailer full of quads there though, a golf cart would be perfect there.

Looking for something a little more ATV friendly, if that is even possible.  I saw southren ridge, but the wife shot it down cause there is no swimming for her and the two year old.  I appreciate the effort however.  That looks like a fun place to hang out, will have to check it out sometime.
22  General / Open Discussion / Re: camping area's on: September 14, 2007, 01:43:49 PM

That's quite a drive, I don't think I could handle being in the truck that long with my wife nagging the whole way and the kids asking if we are there yet.
23  General / Open Discussion / camping area's on: September 14, 2007, 11:20:03 AM
Possibly looking for a needle in a hay stack here, but I'll ask anyway.

Family is wanting to go camping (tent style).  We are looking for a place that is ATV friendly, kid friendly 9yr old and 2 yr old.  Would also like a place to swim, creeks are just fine.  If anybody knows of any areas in NW FL or southren AL. any help would be apreciated.

Thanks,

Blair
24  General / Open Discussion / Re: Guess I'll start it "Minneapolis Bridge Collapse" on: August 03, 2007, 02:34:19 PM
I use to travel that bridge everyday, my family still does.  Everybody from my family is alright, thank god.  I'm listening to 92KQRS morning show, prevoius taped yesterday.  They are talking to the big bald guy they kept showing on fox.  He was driving a semi, that went down with the bridge.  Sad day, for sure.

He just got done saying, the reporters were all over him asking what happened, he told them "look around you azzhole's the bridge just collapsed."
