Would that be a personal attack? I see it as offensive. You acknowledge it is bad for the site in your post yet you posted it anyway. Do you see anything wrong with that ?

My sig says nothing offensive or degrading, nor does it single out an individual. It is a profound philosophical statement that is made in general.

Id@ - I agree freedom of speech is often misused and abused, but I would argue that is not the case here. I have violated no rules of the site. I have not posted anything since my returning from being banned that is lewd offensive or attacks another member. I have not disrespected anyone or the site as a whole. I will no longer post such things. I will not intentionally single out a person and target them. I will not use offensive language even by using symbols to stand for letters as many do. I will however feel free to speak my mind while observing the rules of the site. If someone doesn't agree with my opinion that is their choice and I respect their freedom to do so.

I have complied with the rule :
G-rated - nothing in my posts since my being banned are anyghing other than G-rated.
no profanity, personal attack, hijacking or bashing anyone.
No offensive screen names or inappropriate statments in my sig  simply a profound philosophical statement made in general which I believe is nothing more than me exercisig my freedom of speech  since I have complied with all rules of the site.
If however anyone is referring to any posts made pre-banning I was under the impression that the mods "cleaned this place up" however if there are any of my posts remaining I would be happy to modify them so that they no longer offend anyone or compromise the integrity of this site. Please send me any links to my posts that you would like me to modify and I will be happy to do so. I expect not to be banned again for old posts dated before the end of my banned period that ended 10/5/05.
What I won't do is refrain from posting my opinion in an appropriate, intelligent, well worded way that does not violate any rule of this site. As stated in the rules I will be warned prior to any banning (even though I didn't get that benefit the first time).
On that note I will be reporting posts that I find offensive and inappropriate regardless of who originated the post. I am all for the rules to protect the site, its content, and its members. I do however believe that we should all be held to the same standard of conduct. So anyone that has posted threats, lewd material, disrespectful commnets, or inappropriate material for which they have not yet been warned or banned, I ask you now to modify or remove it for everyone's sake.

Nothing I post is vulgar, or violates the site rules. If I get banned it's because I don't post only what certain people want. Well that is a freedom guaranteed under our constitution called freedom of speech. Maybe you guys have heard of it ?

I didn't bring it up just responding to the condescending comments made by others shifting responsibility where it doesn't belong. I posted nothing offensive, vulgar, or disrespectful to site or members. Just voicing my opinion.

As far as your sig ltr-450. You were all banned for stirring up trouble, being vulgar and not respecting the site rules. Your post to me was the straw that broke the camels back. If you don't know them then look at the agreement when you signed up. Quad and gasgas just got caught up in the mess. You guys are more than welcome to post anything that you want as long as it doesn't get rude,or crude. The moderators make the decision as to what gets modified or deleted. Just keep it clean and have fun.

I was trying to stay away from it but you put it out there so.... the post I was banned for was not offensive except to maybe your ego. it wasn't nasty or anything it just didn't agree with what you were doing and your attitude.

And if that's the case when is you suspension going to start ? You threatened LE and were rude to many. It wasn't only the ones banned that you offended either and I'm sure you know that by people leaving and other posting about it. I guess it's still a case of do what you want if you're a mod.

lt250r was banned for looking back in your old posts and quoting them to show the hypocracy of the site mods. You told him it was because he brought te subject up again. It is open discussion and nothing he posted was bad. You didn't like it and banned him. Are you gonna ban me again for talking about it? Hmmmmm.

And you even followed us (I know you signed up before us - but you went behind and posted behind everything we posted ) at another site. you even got nasty with me in pm's and told lt250r in an open forum "bring it punk" When I called you on it you said "I'm obeying the rules of this site" So it show how hypocritical you are. You did it there, and you did it here and banned others for less than what you did. 

You wanted to bring it back up so here it is. I have posted nothing offensive or lewd, no cussing or personal attacks. What I have posted  is facts and in some cases opinion which violate none of the rules. Guess we'll see what happens.

That remains to be seen. Although some banned posted nothing obscene they got 3 days temp ban, but so far I'm the only one allowed back. Even though others were banned before me. Quad, LE, Gasgasman, lt250r are all still banned. I guess the drama continues.

I sent you a pm to ask you about it but since you're busy flexing your almighty power forget it. Fine run your dictatorship of a site right into the ground. with no members there's no site. We all came here because it was well run and we enjoyed it. now it's  "I'm better than you and do what I want" Not I'll do what it takes to make the sight clean, but what ever I want. I frequently post about atv's and riding. however the reason I've been here for just over 2 years is due to the comorodery and friendship. Just like Swamp Donkey asked for prayers in his time of need. We do such things in a comfortable and helpful society not in a coercive dictatorship.

If you expect me to lick your boots or to only post exactly what you like or agree with while you post nasty comments and threats cause you're a "mod" then don't bother pushing your big bad delete button I'll remove myself. You post what ever you want and even if we follow the rules but upset the big bad mods we get banned ? that's crap no matter how you look at it. Cain- I have agreed with you on the majority of things you say untilnow. And there is a lot of things I could say that would make it personel I have never asked for or demanded that I have special privliages in fact until last night I had only made 30 post but when my husband is going thru he11 and back to keep just a handfull happy and then get's personally attacked by the few I sure as heck am going to stand up to them and state my oppinion which only belongs to me not my "MOD HUSBAND".  I am sick of him not being able to keep the peace and when he snaps he is the one who gets attacked! As stated I have no prob with rules. I am for the rules being applied even.y. The prob (onlly 1 I've ever had) with your husband is the fact that it's ok for him to make an outright personal attack and threat with no repercussions due to his mod status. There have been threads deleted for content and I for one have said things like "I understand why, it got out of hand, etc" but for it to be ok for some and not others is my problem. As you know I believe in expressing my opinion and you said yourself we usually are on the same page. But now it's get rid of me since we don't see eye to eye ? Isn't that acting on a bias ? I again say state the rules and apply them. It shouldn't be different for different people. I am sorry if my posts have placed stress on or demanded the time of your husband. I can see where it would be hard trying to sift through all the stuff on this site and trying to keep the peace. I applaud his efforts as long as equality is kept intact. the suggestion was made for a pg-13 section to accomodate adults (still with rules of decency in mind) after age verification was made to help seperate any possible offensive or controversial content from mainstream discussions. I for one believe it would have been in the best interest of the site and avoided much drama. I however don't have the authority do make such a decision and would be fine to stay and play by the rules as a G rated site. My problem was in the way the rules were applied and the fact that they applied to a certain few. perhaps it's due to the ovewhelming amount of posts that this took place, I can't say for sure. It just seemed like an unjust application of the select rules on a few. Maybe it was all a misunderstanding that got blown way out of proportion, but threats and delete these few accounts isn't the way to solve it and only strengthens the thought that it was singling out a few individuals. This dichotomy can't exist on only 1 side. There seem to be two factions going at it. I think a truce need to be called and the rules as well as their enforcement revisited.
