The disturbing thing is the animosity some of you show toward Paul and the Plex. Paul took his own money and purchased a place for the sole purpose of providing somewhere to ride. He sought everyone's input on designing the place and tries hard to offer something for everyone while maintaining a safe, family environment.  Sure, it's in North Florida. But, it's simply another place to ride and I've never heard a single person complain about their experience at the Plex.

Nobody's discounting L-Cross, Bamboo or any other area for that matter. It's great that those places are available and that people enjoy them. Take your pick. If you like it, have a great time. But, you always get a certain group of folks who engage in extreme douchebaggery and disparage Paul, the Plex and anyone that enjoys it there. Meanwhile, those same folks are missing out on a great time with great people.

So, I say, enjoy L-Cross, Bamboo and any other place that's legal and open to ride. That's what it's all about. I hope all of those places stay open forever and that everyone attending them has a great/safe time. In the meantime, if you want to act like a two year old and make snide remarks about Paul, the plex and those who attend the plex weekends...go ahead. You're only making yourself look like a complete idiot and missing out on a good time. Only you lose in this scenario which, is indeed a shame.

 

It just seems impossible to post of riding anywhere without someone hijacking the thread and turning it into a love fest for the Motoplex. Why don't you just keep a running thread like "Why I love the Motoplex" and people can stop in and feel the love.

With all the new house's out there now, people are starting to put up barbed wire across trails, boards with nails on the trails and any other type of obstacle to hinder riding in the area. We have owned out there for several years, but haven't been out there to ride in over a year. The new locals have taken it upon them selves to erraticate the area of ATV riding. It is truly a ride at you own risk place now.

So very sad, but at last she is free from the pain and agony of this dreadful disease.

Wow Dirte', you of all people should know better than to post on a thread with the word "plex" in it. 

I may be wrong but I believe the revenue from Croom goes into the "General Fund" of the Fl. Div. of Forestry. Makes sense because they sure don't put much back into it for whatever reason it seems. And property in Hernando Co. is at least 5 times the amount it is in Madison Co. And, that is if one could find land that would be allowed to be used for an ATV facility in Central FL! Way more treehuggers than in north FL.

From what I've seen and heard the plex is a great place.
Lets see "the truth" folks. Spill it. If you've even got anything. If you don't you're eather: (a) full of crap; (b) scared little kitties; or (c) both.

I know I'm new here, but I'm confused.  What is wrong with the Motoplex?  Sounds like a pretty good place to me.  I ride a ute and I'm looking at going up there.

And you should. While your waiting for the weekend to roll around, head on over to the motoplex site and see if anyone of the local thugs can rate you  . They will be more than happy to tell you wether you're "cool" or a "tool", they are a fun bunch. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the person that started this thread.

Nothing wrong with sports  , The truth would hurt to many people, must be kept secret.

Thanks, for the come back we all got to set a date to get a gang load of side x sides to go down there I got at least 6 to go I am ready. Jeff yes I raced at white city know Jerry well and Flup is my best friend for 35 years. Medic the two buds with me sucked water two times but we pulled the plug and blowed out the water and we was at it again. Went in there at 10:00 26 miles later and got out at 5:30 really a lot of water and fun. we were all wet but it was good wet later.

This thread & the few Ranch people who cant afford the drive to the plex are the reason my visit to this site has decreased to 1-2x per week if that. Same d**ks starting shiz different day.
At least this man owns the plex & charges a very fair price to enjoy it. UNLIKE RR where you have to drop a few grand to say you are part of some secret society in which you have NO RIGHTS to the land they sold you & you have to pay extra to bring your family in with you. Dont tell me anything about RR my family has been out there since 1984. I have seen it change & we dont go anymore because of the BS out there.
You guys are so punked by the joke. Thanks for all the free press for the plex. Stay in S. Florida...errr Cuba Rico & enjoy yourselves. Trust me all the people who go to the plex will continue to enjoy theirselves much more than the same old sandy trail at RR.

RR=50,000+ac. Holopaw=8000+ Homoplex=204, sorry not worth driving all that way to ride in someones backyard. Not even big enough to have an FTR race.

If you had a XC course I think it would attract a lot more riders then the MX track does. There are a lot of XC racer in the area that have no place to practice. One 7 to 10 mile loop would be perfect. I know a bunch of riders that would be there on almost every weekend.
