They cut out the big sweeper on the SW end of the track. I agree with Luis and Kevin on this one. The track fees for non-members went up to $25. I wouldn't mind paying that if they did a better job with keeping the track in good condition. It seems that everytime I go out there, the track gets worse and worse.

As for the throttle, I agree with the post above about preference. If you are used to riding bikes, then you might prefer it. When I ride motocross, I prefer a thumb throttle. In harescrambles, I prefer a twist. It all up to you.

yeah, I heard My wife did not like the idea of me going to Ocala because she is due to go into labor at anytime. I went to Croom today with some FTR bike friends of mine instead. I have never seen a 400ex due several cartwheels until today as I was flying upside down watching it. I have now learned that a steering damper is a good thing. Let me know if you are going to Bartow this week.

"QT", Hare scramble courses will probably be anywhere from 6-10 miles a lap. Unless the rules change, the start will be a dead engine start. This year we ran to our quads and started. Next year, It might be a GNCC type dead engine start. Most courses have sections of open areas, tight areas, hillclimbs, simple motocross, and depending on the weather, mud. This was my first year involved with racing quads in FTR and it was a blast. I met alot of great people that will now be friends of mine for years. It is definately worth your time to check it out.

hey, I am not a mx'er either. I was thinking that I could use a plastic milk jug as a oil tank...ummm...that just might work.

The only thing that smurf is going to see is the bottom of my quad as it goes overhead. If the weld job is not good, the smurf might get oil in his eyes.

yeah, me too. I recently learned that EX oil tanks have problems with coming apart. Honda uses epoxy to put those things together. I am just glad that it didn't happen during a scramble.

Luis, Hopefully I will be there tommorrow night too. My stock oil tank on my EX decided to get a crack in it tonight when I was changing the oil. I am going to try and see if a radiator shop will weld it up for me tommorrow. I hope to see you there. Lost soul: Bartow motocross is just on the west side of Bartow on HWY 60. If you are coming from Tampa, it is on the right just before the Chevrolet dealership. Turn into the USX industrial park and follow that road straight into Bartow motocross. $20 to ride if you are not a member.

Hey everyone, I am new around here. I am trying to post pics of a quad I am wanting to sell. I tried to use "browse" and just pull the pics from my pictures and that didn't work. Then I hosted some pics on photobucket. I tried to copy and paste several different things and that didn't work. The wierd thing is that once I copy and paste the pic to the post, I can do a post preview and see the pics just fine. When I click "post", the pic doesn't show up. Can someone help?

I have got to go to S. Carolina this week for a meeting, and I will be back on Thursday. I am definately looking to ride this coming weekend. I was told that I would have loved the scramble course this weekend. I'm upset now that I didn't go. I love those tight trails where it looks like you might not fit through trees. I just need to learn not to run into trees. I will talk to Richard to see if we can get him out riding this coming weekend or the following weekend.
