YA DC MOTORS WILL RUN either direction but the angle of the blade dictates what direction it needs to run, weather it is pushing or pulling the air..

sounds like the plates are sticking together, may be time for a new clutch, also when getting oil make sure its for a wet clutch. will help your clutch last longer, another thing is make sure your basket don't have deep grooves.

One thing I came across one time, a customer installed a aftermarket auto parts fan is it ran in the oppisite direction as the atv fan which made the bike run hotter, most atv fans are mounted on the back of the radiator and automotive mount on the front, just something to look at or keep in mind when buying a new one.

Don't forget about JESSICA 88, 1st moto 3rd place holeshot and 2nd moto 1st place holeshot, Them ATP motors like to be out front off the gate.........Then its up to the rider to decide where they end up. She finished 4/5 and got a 5th place overall in C class.

mike, if the piston moves freely then make sure that the caliper slides are free also. the pads will always rub a little.

Toby we fully agree with you on the neck brace and we will be getting some soon. We were just waiting a little to see how they would work and I have seen many of times people were thankfull for having them and yes it is a lot of money but we have also spent a lot of money of our bikes and what is more important the bike or our kids?
As for an update on Jackie we wont know for about 2 more weeks if she is going to have any permanet damage to the leg or not we have to wait for the swelling to go down before they can do a CT or MRI now it is just a waiting game.

I can't tell you how many times my husband and I have stood next to an ambulance offering our help to the parents of an injured child. We have taken motorhomes to our house until they could pick them up. Or what ever help we could be we were there. Well it was our turn to be in the ambulance thank god it was our first and hopefully our last. But I was so thankfull to everyone for their love and support and offering of help in anyway they could. Just to let you know even though Jackie had to be dug out of the dirt she got that pile drived and was twisted like a pretzel the EMT though for sure she would have several breaks in her right leg. Well thanks to the very expensive leg braces we had just bought she has nothing broken we wont know about any ligament damage for about 3 weeks. She is out of racing for awhile but is looking forward to coming to the track to root every else on. Jackie now has the new nick name of rubber girl. We tease her all the time that she just could stand for Sam to get all the attention. We told her if she wanted attention she didn't have to run herself over. We wish Sam all the luck in a fast recovery you are such a pretty girl and you will be again once your lip goes down. We'll get Sam and Jackie a handicap sign and they can drive around in the Rhino Sam has to drive Jackie cant right know. We look forward to seeing everyone at redick and hope everyone stays safe.
I also wanted to thank some very special people first the EMT that respond to each rider down they are truly great, and the med fleet drivers those 2 guys were absolutely great with Jackie, Toby for all he did for Jackie, Mike from ATP he was also great, Kim Madl for being my eyes for me while Jessica was on the track. Vickie Eaton for her loving tears that just showed us how much she really cares about Jackie and all our kids what a wonderful person. Blane for getting me something to drink after I had to run across that track is was farther than I thought. If I forgot to mention personally by name I am truly sorry there were just so many people and so many questions that I think I forgot some people. But we do appreciate everything everyone did for us.

Well like I said before $30.00 for a 2 day event is nothing, If you were to cheap to show up then you missed some good racing.
Had a good turn out and no major accidents. the weather today also turned out pretty good.....
Hope to see everyone at the next round..........KEN

It sounds like a bunch of winers on here, if you can't afford to race then take up kniting or something, $15.00 a day is chump change if you consider how much expense there is in making and maintaining a track not to mention buying the property, one piece of equipment is probably more than most make in a year. I am sure that l-cross as with any other track are not doing it because they have nothing better to do, it is a business and most business are susposed to make money...This is just part of the sport and I am sure everybody on here realizes what they are getting into when they bought a bike and started dumping lots of $$$$$$$ into it to be competive........
I just hope we have a good safe race and that the rain stays away.......

Be sure to check out the water pump bearings, The 400's are known for the water pump bearings going bad which is actually the counter balancer that drives the oil injection pump, when the bearings go bad it stops pumping oil and you can get the same thing that happened to you.. just make sure you check this before putting in a new piston....
