General / Open Discussion / Re: Proposal to open up 85,862 acres of Big Cypress to ATVs

OK so here's the rest of the story, the "addition lands" as this is called, was open to public with untethered orv access throughout the area. Once this was taken over by the park service they closed it until they could do a GMP(General Management Plan) and has since been closed. All of the proposals are bad because they all include some kind of WILDERNESS DESIGNATION. When congress passed the law that allowed this, they never mentioned WILDERNESS, instead traditional uses were to continue and have not. I will be submitting my comments asking that they have a proposal with no wilderness and ORV activity. Either way please comment on what you believe will be best....Thxs Rick
Rick you know more about this location than I. Is this the old Bad Luck area?

you would be off to a great start by deleting some of you topics
Good idea, I removed one topic, now I will need some other topics removed. Challenge for Fishaholic, Which president is really to blame for the economy and A must read for all gun owners. For each one of these removed I will remove one of mine. If all 3 are removed I will remove all of mine. Fish Cut the elementary school ground sh!t and remove your posts if you want. No the if this ones does this I will do this. Freakin man up and put your big girl panties on or just STFU. Its sh!t like this as to why I'm not here much anymore.

its called a yoke, the yoke is bolted to your pinion gear on the rear end. the yoke is what the u joint is clamped on to. it sounds liek you have a solid yoke on the trans, meaning you have a slip dirveshaft. its not "adjusting", it has to slip to compensate for suspension travel. i think all that they are saying is to make sure you mark what end goes toward the front and what end is toward the back becasue of the fact that you have a solid yoke on both the trans and the rear end, you can mix them up. if you had a slip yoke on the trans (like most trucks) you couldn't mix them up.
Npe mark it so they align back up cause if you put it in 180 degrees off you might have one hell of a wobble since the shaft is not balanced. Most shafts are slip shafts and bolt or slide into the tranny/x-fer case. The Pinion end is usually held on with the saddels. mark the right side of the shaft to the right side of the yoke and tranny and also the pinion side of the shaft and the pinion. You want to make sure it goes back in EXACTLY how it came out.

Hose it down with PB Blaster or Auto Tranny fluid and let it sit for a day or so if you can. Both of these will eat the rust away and make it easier.
Take the clips out of each side then using a vise or c-clamp push them out. Now you will want to use 2 sockets a big one that the cap will fit into and a smaller one that is just smaller than the cap. Use the smaller socket to push the u-joint out and into the larger one.
If this does not work you might need to take the drive shaft off and use a press. Before you take the drive shaft off mark it on both ends so it goes back in the same way and is balanced.

Yes there is a known issue with SP3. It has to do with intel chipset configurations being loaded onto a non-intel based computer (AMD).
The system will just reboot, or not boot up at all.
It also strips out the Authentication tab for the 802.1x (DOT1X security) on the NIC card. Those of us who run Computer based certificate security on our networks this is a MAJOR issue. The Computer cert can no longer be bound to the user it has to be bound to the NIC card and this defeats the security . To work around this we had to go to a user based certificate for security.

and don't forget to plug the carb drain tube that comes out of the bottom of your carb. It also serves as a vent when the drain screw is closed. And also re run your differential and brake vents as well, either run them up alongside of your snorkel, or up into your headlight pod.
Also don't forget the fan motor vent if you have a fan

Great gift! We got ours last year.......! Get ready to start paying 30-40 extra dollars a month on FPL bill due to the power behind this TV. How big is yours? Ours is 42'". Perfect for the whole family.
yea its a 42". I currently have and older 36" Sony Wega (also sucks power) so I shouldn't see to much of a difference.
