Had a great time out there!  I can't believe how close it is to our house!!  Wish we had known some of you out there but maybe you're in some of our pictures...check them out on the other site.

Guess there's no real meeting spot...we're heading out tomorrow (Saturday)...if you see us out there say hello!  Everyone have fun and be safe this weekend!

4  General / Open Discussion / Re: Gas Ratons start tonight! on: August 31, 2005, 06:19:56 PM
My sister just saw something on the news that said gas is up to $5/gallon in Atlanta!!  Did anyone else hear anything like that?
5  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: Mud Bash Labor Day Wkend @ C&R on: August 30, 2005, 11:26:14 PM
Is there somewhere we could all meet up?
6  General / Open Discussion / Re: New Rider on: August 28, 2005, 10:52:40 PM
trailhouseowner -

We're heading up there in October.  We were thinking about Hatfield McCoy but might end up going to NC instead to save some driving time.  Do you know anything about the riding around there?
7  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: Mud Bash Labor Day Wkend @ C&R on: August 28, 2005, 10:47:11 PM
It'll just be Bobby (UCF) and I going from Lake Placid so let us know where you want to meet.  We've never been there before so we're not familiar with the place.
8  General / Where to Ride? / Re: Where to spend labor day? on: August 28, 2005, 10:41:13 PM
Man we're driving 12hrs. oneway to ride labor day weekend  Drive Drive Drive Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Have fun up north!  Hope y'all don't hit any bad weather!!
9  General / Where to Ride? / Re: Labor Day Mud Bash C&R motorsports on: August 22, 2005, 02:53:09 PM
We'll most likely check it out one day at least, we can't make it out there the whole weekend because we have the dogs at home.  If it's any fun there, it'll be pretty nice to have a place to ride right by our house instead of driving 2 hours...we end up spending at LEAST the $50 just on gas, etc. anywhere else we go.

For the regulars who go to this place...do y'all have a group that meets up somewhere?
10  General / Open Discussion / Re: WTF is this world coming to.... on: June 16, 2005, 04:49:23 PM
That's like my dogs kawGIRL.  They're big black labs but they wouldn't do anything except lick you to death.  They sure sound mean though when they hear a noise.  Just knowing that they're with me when Bobby isn't around makes me feel safer.

I'd like to think that the idiots braking in would just move on to the next house if they heard my pups protecting the place.  Although there are some pretty ballsy criminals out there these days.
11  General / Open Discussion / Re: Micheal Jackson on: June 14, 2005, 08:22:40 PM
I'm sure those kids came up with "Jesus Juice" all on their own.  I can see there not being enough evidence to get him for child molestation but come on...not guilty to giving a minor alcoholic substances...please...get him on SOMETHING!
12  General / Open Discussion / Re: How did you find this website? on: June 14, 2005, 08:19:16 PM
Bobby found it searching the internet.  It's a good thing he did, too because we probably would have sold the four-wheeler if we never had anyone to ride with.  Went out and met the group at MSG and the rest is history...

It all started with Zin running over Bobby's foot...oh the memories!

Bobby and I after a day in the mud.  Can you believe that was a year ago already!

This is my baby, Savannah.  Unfortunately, she doesn't get to come out on the four-wheelers with us.  I was surprised to find out that I don't have any pictures of her and I together...what a bad mom I am!

Don't really think there's much of a crowd going this month.  It's fathers day weekend plus I think everyone is bummed out by the weather we've been having.  Maybe next time...
16  General / Open Discussion / Re: How long have u been riding? on: May 12, 2005, 04:17:39 PM
I wish I was riding that young!  Now I just have to make enough money so that my kids can start riding at that age!

I want to get y'alls opinion.  I want to get a new bike but not sure what to get.  Bobby's been doing all the research so I'm not really very educated on all the bikes out there right now.  I see that some of you have driven a few different ones.  The boys can tell me one thing, but I want to see what bikes the ladies like the best.  I'm looking for a utility quad (no sports bikes for me) and I'm mostly in the mud.

Any suggestions?
17  General / Open Discussion / Re: Recipe Round-up on: May 02, 2005, 05:20:27 PM
Anyone have any good chili recipes?  Mmmmm..that would have been good to have out at MSG when it was cold out!
18  General / Where to Ride? / Re: Live music at MS&G - Rush it or Flush it! on: May 02, 2005, 04:49:25 PM
I love the hicktown video but think it's pretty funny that all the girls are so clean when they've been out in the mud all day!  Someone get those people dirty!  There's way cooler and dirtier people out at MS&G...put us in a video!

As for the concerts, I think I'll go to this one.  Jason Aldean seems like he'll put on a good show.  Didn't even try to get near the DAC concert cause it was so packed and crazy but this one should hopefully be a little more laid back as far as the crowd.

I think concerts outside are great...I'd much rather be there to see a band than sitting in a bar or auditorium paying $6/drink!  Nice job on the talent Mudmaster!
19  General / Open Discussion / Re: Ladies Always Be Aware on: May 02, 2005, 04:40:48 PM
Been meaning to have one of those (not that one necessarily).  I've shot guns a few times but never actually been taught how to use them properly.  Wouldn't mind spending some days at the shooting range to practice.  Wouldn't feel comfortable having one until I was confident about using it.
20  General / Open Discussion / Re: How long have u been riding? on: May 02, 2005, 04:37:41 PM
Been riding for about a year.  Boyfriend rode dirtbikes when he was younger and I think he was the one that started looking at four-wheelers.  Didn't take long to get me interested and buy one...now we're working on getting a second!

I'm envious of those of you who have more than one bike.  Ideally someday we'll have two utility quads, a sport bike and a dirt bike for him, two harley's....an RV...a boat...when does it end!?
21  General / Open Discussion / Re: Oil Change - Woman vs Men on: May 01, 2005, 09:52:39 PM
Technically, I could change my own oil.  (My dad raised me to be as self-sufficient as possible...either that or he wished I was a boy, haven't really decided yet)  But I still bring it in to the shop to get it done.  But it's nice to know that for whatever reason if I couldn't bring it in to the shop, I could do it myself.
22  General / Open Discussion / Re: You asked for it on: May 01, 2005, 09:42:14 PM
Hey girls!  My name is Casey and I'm 23.  I live in Orlando with my boyfriend Bobby (UCFneed2ride) and our two black labs Hank and Savannah.  We have a Polaris Sportsman 500 that we share but we're working on selling that one and getting two new ones so we each have our own.  We've been riding for about a year in Scottsmore, Okeechobee and River Ranch, etc.  Hope to see y'all out there!
23  General / Where to Ride? / Re: 30.00 PER PERSON FOR MSG? on: May 01, 2005, 06:01:28 PM
Good question.   Huh
24  General / Where to Ride? / Re: 30.00 PER PERSON FOR MSG? on: May 01, 2005, 08:49:57 AM
I'm really kind of sick of hearing everyone complain about the price of this event!  First off, it's only once per month and you know what...they run a business, just like you would run any other business.  They have business expenses and then they make some profit.  You charge for things because life isn't free.  MS&G is like an amusement park for the four-wheelers, trucks and buggies.  I'd pay to use the land and mud holes, etc. just like I'd pay to go ride a roller coaster at a theme park!  Plus, you're telling me someone who can afford these huge buggies, trucks, trailers or these nice four-wheelers pimped out with new tires, etc. can't afford $30 for the weekend!?  Give me a break, eat at home one night instead of going out to dinner...there's your $30.

Before I knew what MS&G was, I thought that the price was too much but after going that first time, I have never thought twice about the cost!  It's all been said before but I'll say it again, if you don't like it - don't go...no one is forcing you to.  More fun for the rest of us.  And instead of sitting around complaining about things in the future, either try to help make it better (by offering suggestions to Mudmaster, etc.) or leave it alone!  No one likes to be around a negative person!  Mudmaster, you have a tough job and I'd love to put some of these people in your shoes for a day.  You're doing great!

As for the rest of you non-complainers...see y'all out there!!
