General / Where to Ride? / Re: humps question

pretty much take turnpike south. right before you take the keys 18 mile stretch you can choose to take cardsound road. take card sound road(left)about a quarter mile down to the left you will see the opening/dirt road. go in there park on the side and ride. its more for utility quads but i have ridden plenty out there on sport quads. you can also go thru the speedway. just get directions to the homestead speedway, go around the back of the track and you will also see a dirt road. that entrance has much better riding for sport quads.
on another note it is not legal to ride there however ive never had a problem. i dont ride there anymore.............

You are posting on a public forum and telling people to mind their own business. hes not telling people to mind their own business. he directed a question to a specific person on a public forum to get a response from a specific person. i agree 100% with zman here. dealers make 1000's of dollars on a product that with the exception of private property has no legal use. although it is not the responsiblity of the dealer to explain that to you, they are turning a blind eye. i am sure the gm from BM is a nice guy. but like i said, i went there once and thats it. the arrogance/rudeness of their employees amazed me. it was almost as if they were doing me a favor. never again.

im telling you right now. if you got spark its not the crank or cam sensor. make sure the sparks jumping at least one inch to ground. if its not you may have a bad coil. if you do have an in inch of spark. follow the path of the spark(coil-coil wire-cap-rotor-spark plug wires til you find the weakest link. hth, gery

Buythisatvstuff,
Depreciation expense is a deduction allowed for businesses only. You are correct in that you are essentially deducting it over a period of time, depending on the useful life of the asset. For something like an ATV used in Mr Bones' business I believe the useful life would be 5 years.
congrats dude. man.........depreciation, useful life. reminds me of all the value adjustment board hearings i used to testify at.i tell you what. theres money to be made there. i know alot of tax reps, cpa's and tax attorneys that make a killing doing that.

Why is it, that nobody will buy my timeshare in Haiti?
Oh you just hold on to it, the US government will surely soon take it off your hands for way more than it's worth! Which brings me to this: Why is it that the US feels so obligated to be the hero to some country that couldn't give two turds about us? why id it ....i thought i was the only one insensitive to the needs of the haitian people.

Miami Auto Marine (M.A.M) 305-446-6677 Ask for Grant I've dealt with them since the approx 1981 . Been in the atc/atv business since the late 70's. They were in the boat/marine repair business in the 70's and got into the atc service business back when atc's were starting out and never changed the business name.

I'd be more interested to know what's happened to parents these days! Sure, there's no guarantees, but, I'm convinced that it's far, far less likely to occur in a family where BOTH parents are actively-involved almost every day in their child's school and after=school lives(sports, extra-curricular school activities, etc.). Parents today give up on each other much sooner and easier. They focus on what they don't get from each other, instead of what they can do for each other! The kids merely learn to ignore and be ignored.
well said. parents these days see their kids as a nuisance rather than a blessing. i always hear them say things like "god i cant wait for school to start again" to ship them off. man i miss not being able to spend more time with my kids.

actually we got directv with all the free installation crap. full service-hd, dvr, on-demand. the problem is that for on demand to work you need an ethernet cable plugged into the dvr. which is no big deal for me to run through the attic. my problem is they never told me that when they installed it. the buyers remorse is 24 hours so i had to immediately cancel it. i told them all i want is what i was promised. they tried to sell me an 80 dollar ethernet kit. i said " no, all i want is what i was promised(ondemand), if you would rather lose a 2 year contract over 80 dollars in equipment then so be it. so now i'm looking into comcast. just wondering how comcast has been for y'all. tia, gery
