Hey, nice to meet you.  So how much mud will that thing go through?

Well its not as tough as the utilities in the mud.  But I have gone through some mud holes with it.  If I don't get my muddin fix on my KFX, I ride my friend's kodiak.

HI THERE!  My name is Ariane. I'm 24 years old and I have a new Kawasaki KFX 400.  I've been riding for 3 months.  So I am quite new to the atv scene.  I grew up in the keys, so waverunners were my thing.  Now its all about the MUD!

today we were at 5a (mims) a guy on a dirtbike hit a jump landed in water and went over the handle bars again no helmet taken to the hospital... man only if both of them would have been wearing helmets they prob wouldnt have been as serious......    wow what a weekend

Just wanted to add that the guy at 5a that went to the hospital was with us. He is my boyfriend's best friend.  He did break two vertebraes, one in his middle and one in his lower back.  Cry He is doing great though.  Even if he was wearing a helmet, it wouldn't have done no good, because he landed on his shoulders. But what sucks is that he had told us the night before that he was going to get a helmet before meeting us out there, and he never did.  I haven't been riding for long, and I already see the importance of wearing a helmet. You may be the greatest driver, but that doesn't mean anything especially when you are in a terrain that you are not used to.

I just hope that everyone takes this to heart, cause it can happen to anyone.

I grew up in the keys (Marathon), and I never heard of places to ride down there.  I think the closest place to ride is Homestead.  The thing to do down there is waverunners.  You will be surrounded by water!

Some of the forum members are meeting at Bithlo track tonight if you are intrested in meeting.  We will ride from about 4:30 until we cant walk, or they throw us out.

My wife will be there along with Mrs. Nightbreed so you wont be the only gal.

How late does the Bithlo track stay open?  I'm gonna try and make it.

Say what's the break in time (hours) on the KFX and did the dealer say you open up the throttle at all during that time? Just curious before I get mine. Thanks...

The break in time is 10 hours at half throttle.

Grin  Hey everyone!  I just got my first ATV last night.  An '05 Kawasaki KFX 400 in orange. I am very new to the atv scene, so please bear with me.  I have been hanging out with my boyfriend's friends that have four wheelers, and I just had to get one.  I want to make a hobby out of it and maybe do some racing.  Only time will tell though.  I would love to hear some input on where are the best riding places.  I have been once to Scottsmoor, and several times out by Seaworld.  Also if anyone knows some good websites to get chick riding gear please let me know.  Well I hope to make some friends on here.
