Hello all.

Looking for some help.  I have a 2005 Suzuki Vinson 500 auto.  I put a new HMF pipe on it and replaced the main jet (which is 128 stock I believe) with the one that came with the new pipe(didnt look at the size)  anyway didnt notice much power gain, and when I ry to throttle it backfires and blows blue flame out the pipe....what main jet should I be using?  I have a dyno jet kit on hand...just need some 411.

Hello all.

I have a 2005 Suzuki Vinson 4x4 automatic.  Put a HMF Utility series pipe, and new Jet Kit that came with it, in the bike.  At the upper band, when you really need the extra power, the bike boggs down, sometimes backfires, and shoot a 1-foot blue flame out the exhaust pipe ....looks cool at night, but not exactly what I was looking for!!!

Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Have a 2005 Suzuki Vinson 500cc 4X4 automatic.  Great quad, but the reverse governor needs to go.  I was coming over a steep hill, needed to go into reverse with some power, and I almost could not do it because the reverse governor is set sooooooo low.

Anyone know how to fix this problem.  I need full power for reverse, I understand about someone young, or with little exp. not having the governor, but I am a grown man...... >:Dthis is really killing me ....please help!!!!!!!

Hello all:

Have been looking for some new MEATS for my 2005 Suzuki Vinson 500.  Need some input.  I do an even mix of mud and trail.  What tires?  and can I go with 27 inches under my stock Vinson?  I was told I could fit them.  Was looking at:  ITP Black Water tires, ITP 589, Swamp Lites, and Mud Bugs.

Just showed this on new chan fox 35.  The mother is being charged with the accident, due to her daughter..under 16...was the driver of the ATV.

me and my family are all using brinks cable locks.  They are like 30 for a six foot section from walmart. we tested one and the bolt cutters wouldnt work on them because they were too flexible and it took almost ten minutes with a cutting torch.

I also use the same brinks cable.  I secure it through the frames of the quad, and onto the steel frame of the trailer.  I also run the shorter brinks cable through my trailer tire, and secure it around the trailer frame.......not sure how to secure the trailer hitch...do they sell a lock for that?

Was thinking of buying some 27 inch Maxxis Big Horn tires.  I would say 70% ride time is dirt trails and sugar sand.  The other 30% is mud.  I have a 2005 Suzuki Vinson 500 4X4.

Anyone have any experiance with this tire?  Anyone got a pic of them on your ride?  The pic they show on the web stinks!!!!!!

The compound has been closed for a long while.  I feel sorry for the girl.  Yes, this will reflect on ATV riders...it's the nature of the beast, just like people blame the "gun for killing someone, but forget to remember it took a human being, with the ability to process his own thoughts to pull a trigger....so maybe what this should really reflect on is poor parenting skills/judgement.  Something to think abount isn't it??? Many people were injured at the compound, thats why the owners wanted it closed off.  This is a no win situation.

I agree....it is like a circus sometimes, and I dont think everyone out there is a land owner...but not sure how you could police it.

Most people out there are good, and carefull, but alot of them are not..it is annoying at times.

I think a key change is coming up soon, that will knock out a bunch of people for a while, but they will make it back in.
