Dont listen to anything Mike says, He would probably tell you to tie a string to you know what........ That would alert you to something going on foresure, BUT, probably not a good idea.

Good to hear they caught the dirtbags,UNFORTUNATELY, as already stated, they will be back out before you know it doing it again Cry

Be cautious of Pro Comps.
Sorry about the misfortune, BUT, It looks as though you definately got your ise out the tires !! There fore, I dont know as if "beware of Procomps" is an accurate claim, They look pretty worn out to me, but, pics dont always tell a good story.
I am very happy with mine.
For your question, do a search on big tex trailers. I know they have them, they were pretty cheap on prices ( although we were in Texas when we seen them).
Also pick up a Bargain trader, or a sawgrass  trader out of palmghetto , I have seen them in there as well.
 Good luck Wink

I say that all the MILLIONS of dollars that BOTH parties have spent on their
campaign, could have made a HUGE difference in the economy if intellegently used instead of cruising back and forth across the country trying to buy votes.

I personally dont think either of our choices are worth a damn, BUT, we are all going to have to make a decision in 27 days........ OR just choose not to cast a vote Huh Huh Huh

7  General / Open Discussion / Re: Attention all members on: September 04, 2008, 12:54:18 PM
Jrpro, We offered to him a helmet as he went across the road. He didnt want one. There were close to 30 of us there for a group ride.
If Cableguy hadnt noticed him off to the side of the sandy area a few hours after him arriving he could have died. Everything that could have been done was.... He lived.

But, I was only saying that was kinda obsurd to say "you only need a helmet if racing". You NEVER know when your going to need the protection of one, Thats why they are called accidents.

I also believe that it should be the choice of a mature adult as to whether or not one be worn. But dont get in an accident and ask for someone else to cover your medical bills ( state, medicare etc).
8  General / Open Discussion / Re: Attention all members on: September 03, 2008, 08:42:28 PM
Unless you are racing, you don't need a helmet on a ute or rhino, enough said.  I don't know a single person who wears a helmet on a ute or rhino that is riding a mudhole.
Maybe you should have been at Rodman damn about two years ago now.
A man about mid 30`s showed up by himself with a UTE and NO helmet. He was riding around a track on the north side of the road and hit a tree. Damn near killed him !!!!
 Now enough said........
9  General / Open Discussion / Re: what size tires do you have on your truck? on: August 30, 2008, 10:03:45 PM

10  General / Open Discussion / Re: Bigfoot found in Georgia? on: August 14, 2008, 01:07:13 PM
You know it would be really cool if this is legit, but still a little skeptical....  Not to say I won't say there is no Bigfoot, but hard to trust ppl anymore now-a-days....  There is that one guy, I don't remember his name, he's got a couple of pics of Bigfoot in the Glades, and those pics look pretty convincing.  I will say this though, I can remember growing up in So Fla, we would be out riding horses, and every once in a while you would get a smell, and as kids we called it the "skunk ape".   I haven't smelled that in years, up onto a few months ago, about midnight on 192, and I smelled it.  Took me right back to being a kid, and I yelled out "skunk ape"...  Don't know if any of you ever smelled that before, it is a weird smell.  I have heard all kinds of explainations of it being skunk, a rattle snake, ect.  I just don't know.  Don't think it's a rattle snake, and as for a skunk, never really seen a skunk in So Fla, or Fla for that matter....

Like I said, if it's true, that would be so cool.  As for causing a stir in the Religion, what's up w/that.  Bigfoot is not the freakin missing link....  If he is real, and could very well be, just thinks it one really big freakin animal, more than likely related to the Gorilla.
I could have shown you atleast one new road kill this past spring on hwy 41 between Dunellon and Williston.
Spring is mating season for skunks, and they were all over the place..........STINKIN !!!!!!!!!!!

When you increase spending and borrowing the encomony does great for a few years and then it falls flat on it's face. You should look this up on Snopes before you post. And it's already been posted before on here.

16  General / Open Discussion / Re: What Rifle Would You Buy? on: June 28, 2008, 10:10:55 PM
It was a joke, Don.  In any event, I would still rather take my 7.  Ever hear of a sling?  On top of that, ever try to kill a deer on the next ridge, 300+ yards away with a .270?  Didn't think so.  That's what makes the 7 such a nice round; killing power at long ranges without having to adjust your elevation 11 inches and versatile enough to work well in the woods.  On top of that, a Model 700 7mm Rem Mag is not much heavier than a Model 700 .270; maybe a pound or two.  By the way, I've been to Maine (latest trip just last July) and bicycled those mountains so I'm pretty sure I can walk them just fine.   Wink
Actually YES I have shot a deer 300 yards away with my .270 without a problem.
A sling helps, but doesnt change the fact of the extra weight. You say only a pound or two, but that makes a difference at the end of the day.
I think I am safe to say, you never hunted on chairback mountain, only due to the fact that you arent walking much in rifle season, more like crawling.Same with B-pond, or the Sterling range.
Sure there are areas that are walkable, but to get to them with snow on the ground AINT gonna happen.
Anyway, I would like to get with ya sometime when you are planning on going again depending on where or what area you go to.
We go the Katadin ironwood forest area way up by the "golden road", nearest town is Brownville.
17  General / Open Discussion / Re: What Rifle Would You Buy? on: June 28, 2008, 11:53:39 AM
The .270 is a nice round; it's quite capable of killing any deer.  The rifles tend to be a bit lighter since you're not shooting a magnum round and the recoil is fairly soft.  That's why all the women and children in our camp used the .270.    Rolling on the Floor Laughing Rolling on the Floor Laughing Moon
I would like to take you to Maine during rifle season sometime. I will carry my .270, and you your 7mm mag. Either your going to be a hundred yarder ( leave the truck and turn back after a hundred yards and sit in the truck) OR, your arms are going to be 10" longer than when you left the truck.
If you have never hunted in the north east, You have NO idea. Maine is VERY hard to hunt, nothing but mountain after mountain and they are not easily walked carrying nothing let alone a rifle.
18  General / Open Discussion / Re: What Rifle Would You Buy? on: June 27, 2008, 01:21:51 PM
OUCH, my side hurts from laughing......... Thats was one funny act of agression that HOT azz georgia day Jason!!!!
Thanks I needed a good laugh, LOL

Back to the topic now, I usually use my Remington model 700, .270 almost everywhere from Michigan, maine, to Georgia. But I dont usually hunt really thick under brush terrain.
I have never had a problem bagging an animal with it ( Smokedog can testify to that) , But,being patient is key to a good clean shot with any firearm you choose.
19  General / Open Discussion / Re: What Rifle Would You Buy? on: June 27, 2008, 12:14:13 PM
I would agree with what Anoriginal has said, BUT would like to add a question to it.
What type of area are you going to be hunting in? Open areas or heavily wooded areas? That would be the deciding factor for me.
We also own all of the above mentioned caliber rifles and all are perfect for each specific type of hunting.
If I were going to open fields or open hard woods such as in Alabama, I would use the .270, just choose wisely on the ammo. We use a ballistic round in our .270`s which gives you the flat trajectory and Knock down power.
Now if you were going to more heavily woode areas, probaly choose something from the 30 caliber family. The -06 can blow through small twigs with out as much trouble of deflection versus the .270.
Just something to think before you buy.
I would try to take Anoriginal up on his offer before you buy, He is an great guy who can help you if you listen.
20  General / Open Discussion / Re: Water 4 Gas on: June 26, 2008, 02:10:33 PM
My mechanic showed me his on a bronco II, He said that he is getting about 8-9 mpg better( city driving) than before the water for gas, But he was going to tune it a little more to see if it gets better.
They were also installing one on a 07` dodge diesel tonight. If I hear any results I`ll post them.

All I will say , is that if your smart enough to tackle a "high bred" type of project, you shouldnt have to ask that question.....

You should be able to put any type in the hole you wanted... with exception.
