Hey guys. not sure how many of the oldschool members are still here , but i recently got back into riding Smiley and im lovin it. I picked up a TITLED 400ex with carburetor issues for $500

turned around and flipped it for 2k..ended up buying a ruckus ( it was a short-lived phase , dont ask lol)

then traded the ruckus plus cash for a banshee..which i still have. and am loving it. I do mostly street/sand riding now , so it definitely suits my needs.

Im in the market for some OEM rear fenders.. i hate cut rear fenders.
theres alot of riding area around here ..this is practically my backyard

Just figured id stop in and say hey. and show you guys my current toys lol.

So i havent posted here in a while. I moved outta kendall into a quiet town called Lehigh Acres, in lee county right beside Fort Myers...theres plenty of riding area around the town , and one pretty big spot where people ride all day and have bonfires at night.. but theres also a park that recently opened up off of SR82 , its called "Lazy Springs".
I personally have not checked it out yet , although it is 10 minutes from my house , when i drive past i see they keep adding to it , they now have some big hills that you can climb and whatnot. I do notice in the pics that people arent wearing helmets so im not sure what kind of rules they have (or dont have) , but i think its $10 to ride all day.. itd be cool to get the owners on here so they can provide more info, seeing how heated up everything is in miami , im sure some people would be willing to take the 2 hour drive.pretty curious to see what all they do, they have ALOT of land to work with.

as far as there being nowhere to ride in SWFL , thats highly inaccurate.. i live in lehigh acres and there is PLENTY riding area.. theres a pretty big spot where people ride all day and night and then cruise alongside the road on a sugarsand path to the gas station and cops dont even give you a second look... lehigh =winning. lol

If it's legit and not stolen you can go through a title agency. We've used one a few times for car titles, cost 180 or so and took a month, titles came back in our name. I'm sure you'll have one in your area, if not the one we used is Accurate lien sales..
Here is the add i found on in Jacksonville about them. Might be worth a call to see if they can help out of area people.

ACCURATE LIEN SALES

NEED A TITLE? CALL US AT (904)472-4891

NON-USE AFFADAVIT

well i called and got a very friendly lady. i guess their price went up , its 197 for offroad vehicle titles , but its all good , i think im going to get it done with them.thanks Smiley

15  General / Open Discussion / Title Problem Question on: December 24, 2008, 01:40:16 AM

So when I got my dirtbike , the guy didnt have the title . but i dont really care about titles ,so i just ran the number up , and made sure it wasnt stolen , and its not , so i traded.

now ive come to a position where i NEED the title , heres my situation:

The guy i got it from , got it from his sisters ex boyfriend .

the sisters ex boyfriend , is the original owner , and the title is under his name.hes the one that lost the title.

i MIGHT be able to get in contact with the sisters ex boyfriend aka original owner , but he lives in michigan now or some sh*t.

what would i have to do to get a title?anyone experience something like this?

I was told i could get a "Power Of Attorney" sheet , but i heard that the person has to come into the dmv with me for that...
heres a screenshot of what the dmv site says to prove its not stolen

traded my waverunner for it.

Finally got it.

after a couple of weeks of waiting and having some title issues , and telling the guy no(because i was going to get the samurai) and then telling him yes , and then making him drive up to my house from miami , the YETSKI is gone , and i have a new toy.

2005 YAMAHA YZ450F

Full FMF Exhaust
Jet kit
Gold Excel wheels
Aftermarket Handlebars
Revalved suspension
renthal chain and sprockets
hotcams
other mods i cant remember...

crappy cell pic , cant even tell the wheels are gold . ill get some DSLR pics later tonight.

my friend came over as i was finishing the deal , and saw me almost kill myself on it , it 12 o'clocked on me , like real bad , but i saved it  lol. I have grown ALOT of respect for the power of this bike and will not be abusing it anytime soon. lol.
