The windrock is an orv ride park in oliver springs tennesse. Go to www.windrockatv.com or www.coalcreekohv.com. These are two of the wed sites. We went to the spring jamboree in april the had a poker run with tons of prize's. I won a set of wheels and tires a $500.00 value. They gave away winches, tires, GPS's and a ton of other stuff. We went on a 80 mile ride into a town called Lake city. The police department escorted over 100 atv's down main street to cracker barrel. This time my family and 3 others are going to head up on the 15th and go to durham, tellico and then on to windrock for the jamboree. Should be a blast. I have a ton of pic's but they are to large for the attachment file.

A group of us went to the spring ride up there. It was great riding great sights and very friendly people. It is really for 4x4 atv's. There was a few sport quads but they could not go to alot of the places. When you go get directions to slippery rock, the coal mines, and the mountian top view spot. We are going back up for the fall ride in october can't wait.

Be careful riding in Leigh Acers area off SR 82. Most of this land is being bought up and the COPS are now running people off. They have been out there with their ATV's, trucks and copper stopping people. Also there is a new mud hole in palm dale and its way better then felda. Its off US 27 just north of SR 29. Its called C & R motor sports.

Unfortunately in this sport a few bad apples will ruin it for the whole bunch. I saw two or three idiots riding their atv's on the road at the protest for the closing of Badluck. Everyone is out there trying to do the right thing and get some land to ride on and you have a couple of idiots ruining it. I guess stupid people are everywhere doing everything. "But if we did not have stupid people who would cook our cheese burgers and pick up our garbage.

If you are planning on signing a letter of anykind that is going to a government agency you need to be professional. These agency are not going to take us seriously if people us rude and unprofessional comments. Stuff like that is only adding to their fight against ORV use. SO PLEASE LETS DO THIS RIGHT this is a serious matter to thousands of people. If you can't be professional then we don't need your help because you are only going to hurt our campiagn!

Yes if you ride on the side of the road you can be arrestednot just ticketed. You must stay behind the the top of the swell of the ditch. But if you are stopped just be respectful and most of them will return the respect with just a warning.

I have not been up there yet. But knowing the laws they can not tell you to get off private land. As long as you don not park or ride on the county right of way they can not make you leave. Unless they have a sign tresspass from every land owner out there.

Everytime I go down I-75 in the about the 172 mile mark I can see a ton of ATV's riding in the woods. I was wondering if anyone knows how to get to this area and if it is any good? Now that they are closing badluck we are going to need a close place to go to ride from Naples.

I recieved this letter to day inreference to BadLuck. This is to advise you that effective January 3, 2005 your special use permit to ride OHV on Picayune Strand State Forest will be terminated During a recent meeting between the Division of Forestry, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and the South Florida Water Management District, some of these agencies felt that OHV use on the State Forest was incompatible with the restoration project. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has oversight responsibility through a written agreement because the Federal Government contributed over $38 million dollars for acquisition purposes.
We are committed to finding a solution to this issue. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Sincerely,
CHARLES H. BRONSON
