thanks! The pics don't do it justice. And I usually don't brag about price, but I got it for $3500. I didn't even try to haggle with the guy. I never get deals like this! It's got itp tires, spacers, nerf bars, bumper, grab bar, fmf pipe and k&n filter! But for some reason...it's missing heel guards???

I live in mandarin. Yeah, hook a brother up. Through forum research I have found the metroplex and the sand pit just north of waycross. Plan on checking both of them out after the holidays.

Hey all, I've been out of the fun for about two years. But yesterday I found a deal I could not pass up. I'm a proud owner of an 06 black and yellow raptor. Now will be looking to ride in my old stomping grounds again. I use to ride rodman alot. Is that still legal to ride? Looks like this motoplex place is the sh*t. Will have to check that out soon. Anywho, I'll get good pics and post em' up soon.

Hey all, haven't posted on here in a while due to being atvless. I am currently in los Angeles working. I have been out here for a month and return back to Jax tomorrow. There has been alot to see out here. Including this banshee at a car repair shop. I asked how much and they said..."not for sale". Anyway, thought it was worth sharing

Still undecided but leaning towards the predator. I'm an ex-raptor rider and like the idea of reverse and don't need massive speed that often. Do have fun on the drag strips but not a racer type guy. More into riding trails and maybe riding wheelies and doing some jumps. I'm 45 and like to ride with my son, Alex who's 14. So, need something kinda comfy that's still a sport. Eric, what up? Hard to argue with Eric and his quote...polaris vs honda....hmmmm, yeah I know. You can't beat honda reliability. Polaris...who knows? Yes, prices are otd. only have to pay for gas to get there and back. I've done it once before. Drove to Chattanooga and back on a saturday. Check out http://www.polarisofchattanooga.com and http://www.southernhonda.comThanks for all the advice and I know everyone is leaning towards the trx450ex but we'll see and I'll keep y'all posted.

OK...here's the deal. Looking to buy a new or newer quad. sport type. I am going up to chattanooga and buying a trx400ex for my son. while up there I might as well get mine for cheap. Can get a new 05 TRX450 for 4983 otd. Or get a new 06 Predator 500 for 5283 otd. Which would you buy?? The 450 has no electric start or reverse. I don't know jack about the predator.

Hey all, been a while since I have posted here. I sold my raptor and my sons 400 due to the headache it had become loading them up and driving for a hour and a half, then ride for four hours and load up, drive home and wash and scrub for another hour.
So.....I think we miss it! Looks like we might be in the hunt for a couple of sports soon. I'll keep y'all posted and post some pics if we get some new toys.

Hey all, I sold my raptor and my sons 400ex (trx Alex ex). Just got tired of loading eveything up and making an entire day out of it when ever we wanted to ride. Plus the trails at Ocala are less and less every time we went down there. If I had a little bit of property it would be different but living in the middle of suburbea makes local riding impossible. Soooo, both ATVs are now sold thanks to the cycle trader.
Anyway, I've learned alot here and always look forward to reading y'alls comments and probably still will.

General / Where to Ride? / Dirt Farm report

Went to the dirt farm today with my son (alex trx_ex) and had a good time. Not alot of people there which made it nice. They have a pretty good track. (I'm no track guy) I thought it had too many doubles and not enough tabletops. But still alot of fun. The drag strip was nice and smooth, easy to get your speed fix there. Also had a small oval flat track that was fun to run on. They have one trail that takes about 10 minutes to run. It cost us 25 bucks to ride...not bad. The people working there are really nice and have drinks and snacks for sale. They also have some little chickens running around so take your grill!!
It's no ONF (kinda small) but still a nice place to go and enjoy an afternoon of riding.
We'll be back!
