Its an area that will most likely be closed soon because of the kinds of things that the op talked about. Trash everywhere, camp fires that dont get put out, discharging firearms, and underage drinking. This place will end up like everywhere else if we dont do something. We were out there with friends a few weekends ago and it was pretty bad. If anyone knows of a group that is working to clean this place up please pm me. I would like to get involved and I have friends that are interested, too.

stupid question... did you put fluid in it when you installed it? most people dont ship parts with fluid in them. If you did put fluid in it what did you use? I have heard that a certain type of automatic transmission fluid works, but I always stick with polaris fluids.

Personally I go there just to ride where Im not bothered or arrested. I go about 4-6 times a year. So that means my "RRPOA" membership card costs me about $20-30 to use each time I go. I already bought my piece...

I have my own rules for RR-
1- dont read too much into all the rules
2- dont leave anything at camp that is worth money or not bolted down
3- keep going until someone physically stops me

At first I worried a lot about all the rules and tales of theft. Then I had my camp robbed and took a step back and simplified everything and its all much easier to deal with now. No worries until the day I get turned around at the front gate 

Id like to know exactly where that camp is... mine was in the general area. I sold it because I got all my stuff stolen while I was away. Rolled into camp about 2 am to find my lock cut, well pump gone along with plates, cups, lights, batteries, extention cords etc, etc. Come to find out the previous owner experienced the same thing and after I left the guy 2 camps away had his whole 5th wheel ''towed away''. Now Im in a better location. I still leave an old well pump laying around that happens to be ''mis-wired''    if anyone feels like taking it. Im sure Id hear about it before I noticed it missing.

I like where Im at much better now. Im off lake lizzy.

ive had a second job at the lowes and the two home depots in naples. honestly, it has a lot to do with the store as far as wether its a good plase to work or not. i would go for the cleanest store. at a clean store, the employees already do their own things as far as shelf maintenance. they wont be looking to the new guy to force all the work on. at a dirty store everyone tries to s@#t on the new guy. all together ive worked 3 years between the three stores and thats the best advice i can offer. ive never worked full time though.

*all three stores in this are cut hours when sales slowed, generally 10 hrs a week or less for part-time and about 30 for full time. you would think you could count on these big stores to provide stable income, but you cant. at least not in naples. i just quit home depot about three weeks ago and they hadnt hired anyone new in about 6 months. lots of people left in that time though. this happens every year, some more than others. ESPECIALLY when the previous year is a hurricane filled year. they gauge their sales by last years sales, and they tell you what each dept. and the store as a whole should be making. when sales drop the company makes everything look ok by cutting hours. its the easiest and quickest overhead to drop.

i would never work at any of these stores again unless i desperately needed money. some people like it though. youll probably meet about two or three really cool people, the rest of the people work there for a reason. no offense to anyone. good luck

do you guys have plans to go there again soon? i live in naples too, havent ridden there but a few times. never anyone else there but i heard it used to be the place to go.

did anyone get a pic of that guy in the old 2wd dually in the mudhole? that truck was pretty sick too. tons of people there. had a great time. broke one front axle and the other is on its way. i saw lots of beads but i only saw 2 girls earn them  . whoever knows how to post a bunch of pics at once let me know. oneslowexer got a bunch of video but no computer right now. if anyone is willing to edit it and put it on here for us pm me.
