i have been there for he arrivale of the cops and its not so bad.  the people who get skiddish and uneasy around the cops are who get targeted.  ive told them why im there, what im doing , and what i saw,  if your straight with them thell be straight with you.....  ive also had douchebags around in these instnces that start with the " why are you messin with us, go get them"  and that turns the cops on us, the ones who didnt run.  be cool and dont piss of the cops and point the direction of the wrong doers travel and youll probably be left to ride all day.

hey zman i aint chuckin rocks at the responsible sprort bikes,  just the ones flyin down the asphalt usually with no shirt on and in sandals......   about a month ago there was a group out at 8th street running up and down the liitle dirt raod right against 8th street.  this a$$bandit was sliding and chucking rocks off his tires at all the cars parked along the road.....   This crap needs to stop..............    as far as calling the cops, once they are out there for a call they are gonna give everyone hell. not just the wrong doers,  us good people too.  thats why callin the cops aint an option.

most of us riding cary cameras, i say start posting pics of these guy doing dumb shiot and maybe seeing them selves on here or someone they ride with seeing them might say hey "YOUR AN A$$HOLE!

i just saw this and i see guys like this all over 8th st by where we ride ,  it sucks that the sprot bikes come out to the mudpit and ride up and down the roads because they cant ride the trails.........  i saw throw rocks at them..
5  General / Open Discussion / L-Cross this past weekend on: March 11, 2008, 02:09:48 PM

6  General / Open Discussion / Re: treestand question on: August 28, 2007, 07:47:44 AM
You can leave them during the hunt or all season for that matter. Set it up where it isn't easily seen and camo it then lock it. There are those that WILL steal it.

Just remember....it's public land. Placing a stand in an area does not "reserve" that area for you. I use good hunter edicit and avoid areas that have stands being used. There are some jackasses that will leave stands in year round and think it "reserves" those spots for them. It doesn't

he is correct my friend, also these guys thta think they have reserved their spot by leaving stands in, also are pretty much known for cutting out stands close to them.   when it comes to hunting on land that is public i'd advise you to find a tree and figure which direction your gonna put your stand. then walk that direction a couple hundred yards to make sure your not shooting at another stand.  this isnt such a big deal during bow season since arrows dont go as far, but in general gun it could help avoid unwanted problems..
7  General / Open Discussion / Re: slug gun question on: August 28, 2007, 07:41:16 AM
rifled barrels are available for most shotguns to shoot slugs.  if you poke around some gun sites you might see shotguns refered to as deer guns.  those guns are set up for slugs. they are pretty acurate but the round is very slow, so anything over a hundred might be delfected by winds.  simillar to my 44 lever action its a great close range gun with power, not really know for long shots.

9  General / Open Discussion / Re: I'M SORRY, IT'S STORE POLICY!! on: August 22, 2007, 07:04:37 PM
attitude towards customers is most important when you rely on the public to keep your doors open.  i work at a mobil station in miami that has been in the same spot and same owner since 1960.  there isnt another station in miami with that kind of record because they are all rude and treat customers like this.......   hell bring a 9yo into our station for the first day of school and he'll probably leave with free candy.....
10  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: 8st this weekend? on: August 21, 2007, 06:25:37 PM
the wetter it is, the better it is!!!!!!    wet mudd doesnt stick to the bike and make it 300 pounds heavier like dry sticky mudd.  plus the wetter it is, the better chance you have at finding traction underneath.

no no no billy, wrong puddin'......................

hmmm, behind the gun range you say?   i hope not to close, would suck to find out some newbies got a seven mag. the hard way.

LMAO, isn't much worse that riding behind the dike by Macks when the police are firing automatic weapons into it.

not that this is in the area, but if you have ever been to the range down by homestead general airport you'd find atv's crossing behind the berm your shooting at..  i was down there once shooting and i watched two helmets level with the top of the shooting berm go driving by.. not good

15  General / Open Discussion / Re: Okeechobee Mudfest on: August 13, 2007, 09:31:31 PM
i think 94hardbody got it right,   what alot of people arent even realizing is that the bikes had just bike day.  yay for them,  but did  the bikes get shut out for trucks, nope. so i feel that atv riders should be a little more thankfull for the event to do that for them. instead of complain about everyhting else.  i think it was one hell of a time and it went pretty well givin the mixture involved.  i think if you have an event anywhere and invite "trucks gone wild " and their followers then that event will look like this one did tooooo....
16  General / Open Discussion / Re: Okeechobee Mudfest on: August 12, 2007, 07:58:34 PM
well it was awsome.  most of the bikes need to learn to look out especialy when bikes are cutting through big trucks that cant see them. we had bikes and trucks in our group so im not gonna favor one over the other, but it would help if the bikes didnttry to cut in and out of all the trucks.....  as far as the comment about two seperate muddholes , yes they should divide ti next time. i heard last night a girl feel in the bed of a truck that hit a hole and broke her neck on the tailgate.  here are some of the toys we had out..
17  General / Open Discussion / Re: Whos goin to mudfest? on: August 08, 2007, 09:53:04 PM

18  General / Open Discussion / Re: Digital camera's? on: August 06, 2007, 08:58:32 PM
if you want a big one, i think th canon xti is the best for the money....  if you want small, id go with any of the Canon digital elph line.  i have had a 3 meg sd100 for a long time and it took years of riding and boating abuse.  if you want one for riding and outdoors stuff , you can probably pick up a used canon elph that will work perfect  from craigslist cheap enuff not to worry too much about it on the bike.

20  General / Open Discussion / Re: 4x4 atv mechanic on: August 04, 2007, 01:37:36 PM
you got that right.....
21  General / Open Discussion / Re: 4x4 atv mechanic on: August 04, 2007, 01:31:05 PM
well atleast im not the only one who knows they are slow....    as far as you and your bike is concerned its nice to know you are one of the ones that are racing out on the streets by the mud  pits attracting the cops so they mess with everyone else. thats pretty nice of you.  why dont you find your way to one of the SPOTS for running, as not to bring the heat one everyone else. or wait let me guess you dont care if you ruin it for everyone right?
22  General / Open Discussion / Re: 4x4 atv mechanic on: August 04, 2007, 07:34:41 AM
yeah i have read all your posts and it seems like your inlove with 99. not just on this thread either. you talk about how fast he is and how he races for money on the streets, well? oh and you wannna talk about being pissed the f**k off, how about sitting on the side of the road for a few hours while some RETARD who wants my raptor doesnt show. your young and very new to all of this. just because i dont own it doesnt mean i dont have a part in any of it. being the mechanic and fabricator for a few fast vehicles has its advantages, i can set up races with sh*t ive worked on or built.

23  General / Open Discussion / Re: 4x4 atv mechanic on: August 04, 2007, 12:31:03 AM
your 16 and your a big money racer?  13 years ago before you knew what a quad was, we were out a n.w. 41st runnign drag bikes. this isnt my first rodeo son,  get your boy to put up.. tell him what hes up against and lets make it happen..

hell im sure half the people reading this thread have probably been yelling 'race all ready at their monitors.
let me know when and where.
24  General / Open Discussion / Re: 4x4 atv mechanic on: August 03, 2007, 05:56:08 PM
ask pedro why he made some dude from nrth florida come all the way down here so pedro  could back out of the race, then when that guy left since we hadc the sled at the same race spot in the trailer he wouldnt run us either.  so dont sit here and try to say he has anything fast.  we are allways out at countyline or immokalee running. he is never at the track because he doesnt want to be embarased when none of his crap goes fast.
