Hey kids..... Thanks for the luv, I personally appreciate it. All I want is for the track to be a FUN place to RIDE and RACE as well as a place where fellow riders/racers can hang with like minded folks for a GOOD TIME. I know there is a BUNCH of BS I/WE have had to deal with from the hurricanes to the website issues, to just plain old confusion, sometimes on my part, but in the end, I go to the track faithfully on every 3rd Sunday and put my own personal best foot forward & I am humbled that you have noticed, for this I thank you. I only hope that the positive feedback can get more RACERS and RIDERS to attend. As RIDERS/RACERS, we do NOT have a lot of places where we can take our ENTIRE FAMILY for a safe and fun place where the youngest to the oldest and even MOM can have some FUN. I think Sand Mountain provides that environment. Hopefully we can make more people "CONQUER THE MOUNTAIN" so to speak. Again, my most sincere thanks for the kind words. Tom Sand Mountain Speedway PS Any/ALL ideas are read/considered and sometimes put into play. Feel free to comment at will.

The only thing required by the track is:
HELMETS BOOTS (PROTECTIVE) no tennis shoes/sandals, etc GOGGLES
CHEST PROTECTORS are suggested, but not required.
KILL SWITCHES & NERFS WOULD BE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, & AGAIN ARE SUGGESTED, BUT NOT REQUIRED.
Any more questions, post em and I'll answer 'em as fast as I can

Here is the best I can post for a map...the track is south of Bartow, just off of US 17. The entrance to the track is NOT on 17 however, it is on Sand Mountain Road. If you need more detailed directions, the address is 1980 US 17 South, Fort Meade, FL...type it in to mapquest and good luck. www.mapquest.comwww.expedia.comboth are great travel/directions websites. Thanks Tom

:DNext race is on the 5th of December. There was sone confusion, mainly my own, as to whether or not we were going to wait the 3 weeks or squueze another in...we are going on the 3 week plan, I misunderstood and went with the 2 week plan, so I do apologize for the confusion.
DECEMBER 5TH....DECEMBER 5TH....DECEMBER 5TH...

Thanks to everyone who attended on th 14th
Racing was great, NO INCIDENTS to speak of and a smooth, day, MY THANKS TO ALL... personally, I feel the track was in the BEST condition EVER, and I mean EVER. I took a few laps at the end of the race and thought it was smooth, clean and fast. Would have loved to have some goggles so I could actually SEE where I was pointing the wheels, but..........., anyway, see everyone on the 28th.
I am working on a "special promotion" for this race. I'll post it here as soon as I gain approval.
Thanks Tom Sand Mountain Speedway
