I have never posted- only come on here to look around on occasion...but couldn't resist this topic. SkyHigh you are so right. We need to be more accepting of ourselves, and our bodies, so that we can pass it on to the next generation of women. I have realized that, as unfortunate as it is, I cannot shield my two young daughters from billboards or magazines with stick thin women, but what I can do (and trust me- its a work in progress!) is show them what a real woman looks and acts like. One who can laugh with their kids, swim with them without being concerned about cellulite, cook for them (and eat with them!). And okay, occassionally guzzle some beer and burgers w/ the hubby. lol
I hope to be for them what society will never be...
