1  General / Open Discussion / Re: ATV purchase advice on: May 14, 2014, 12:01:35 PM
I've been able to buy both of mine in state but was able to get the dealerships to match the GA and NC prices, I used ebay to find the cheapest and then would call and get an OTD price from them! Some aren't willing to do this but others are so just be sure and shop around. But like was said just be sure to keep sales tax in mind with a FL dealers because if you ever register it you'll have to pay it
2  General / Open Discussion / Re: Can-am owners. Did you buy local? on: May 14, 2014, 11:53:43 AM
Nice looking bike, really like that color! Good luck keeping it claen
The commander we bought everything went smooth and was in the dealership just over an hour, the xmr was an all day affair and the only thing that changed was the sales manager/paperwork guru, the first guy left and went to another dealership for some reason. Amazing how one person can screw up the entire process!
The last 2 grizzlys I bought the entire deal was done over the internet/phone, showed up and was at the dealership less than an hour both times!

We've bought 2 can am's from ride now ocala with very mix results. The first one was a 2012 commander and everything went great, the next year bought a 2013 xmr 650 and it was nothing but a hassle from the word go. We were to the point of walking out 2-3 times before we thought they had finally gotten everything in order, well that was just the start of the problems, apparently the new sales manager guy that was responsible for all the paper work apparently didn't have a clue as to what he was doing and ended up being a massive headache to the point that the owner finally had to call and apologize and offer free services for the bike.Sso they did make it right but it took a lot of bi*ching to get them to do so!
As for there service department, so far they've been top notch as well. But like you said they're not very forth coming with prices especially over the phone

Well now! I guess that gives me enough incentive to get off my behind and get there on Friday!
5  General / Group Rides & Events / Mud Muckers Oct 25-27 on: October 19, 2013, 01:37:56 PM
Anyone else going to make mud Muckers next weekend? Sounds like it's going be one heck of a weekend

Great video!
7  General / Photo Gallery & Videos / Re: Grizzly carnage, Rhino to the rescue! on: September 09, 2013, 09:26:54 PM
Fat daddy's is an atv park in Waycross GA, think it use to be called sand Hill. Its definitely worth checking out!
8  General / Photo Gallery & Videos / Re: Grizzly carnage, Rhino to the rescue! on: September 09, 2013, 08:09:36 PM
Sounds like a plan! Just let me know which direction you end up going and good luck with the sale!
9  General / Photo Gallery & Videos / Re: Grizzly carnage, Rhino to the rescue! on: September 09, 2013, 06:23:32 PM
Ten 4, the offer stands if you change your mind and want to ride it cause I easily have enough parts to at least get it band-aided back together!
10  General / Photo Gallery & Videos / Re: Grizzly carnage, Rhino to the rescue! on: September 09, 2013, 05:14:53 PM
That's impressive, I've never seen both ball joints fail like that before. Mine always wear to the point that the tire has a couple inches of play in them, just had to change my uppers AGAIN!

Either run through Lake City or bring it with you to fat daddys and we can get it going in less than 30 minutes! I have everything except the cv's but who needs true 4x4 anyway, Honda's sure don't, you can 3 wheel it all weekend!
Just saw the battery problems, can't help much there so that's on you, hell I can't even track down my electrical gremlin!
11  General / Group Rides & Events / Fat Daddy's Sept 13th-15th on: September 03, 2013, 06:36:35 PM
We seem to have a pretty good group headed up to Fat Daddy's ATV park in Waycross GA Sept 13th-15th. If anyone is interested in joining, its a great park with something for everyone, very laid back and the prices arent bad either
I personally will get there early Sat morning and stay through Sun, I know some of the others are planning on heading up Friday afternoon
12  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: heading to hastings this sunday on: August 22, 2013, 02:30:22 PM
I for sure am headed to MM for Labor Day weekend, not exactly sure what days yet though.  Fat Daddy's in sep sounds good too,  might be toting the kids for that trip though.

Its a great park, very laid back and defiantly family oriented! Just remember that they will need some sort of DOT helmet being that there under 16 but I think a bicycle helmet works as long as its DOT approved!
13  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: heading to hastings this sunday on: August 21, 2013, 04:06:35 PM
Dang it sounds like yall had a blast, I hate that I missed it
I think ole nasty and a couple of them are going to mud Muckers Labor day, I would go but the old lady will have me on vacation the 2 weeks before and not sure how the finances and work will like that!
As for fat daddy's there's a group from Lake city headed up there for a weekend in the middle of Sept and I'm planning on heading up there with them
14  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: heading to hastings this sunday on: August 21, 2013, 10:24:36 AM
Finally got me a tow rig set up, 92 Chevy 3500 with new 6.5 and 5 speed,  getting new tires this week so I'm good to go! So now as long as I'm not working I'm game for a ride!
15  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: hasting on 8/3 saturday on: August 03, 2013, 08:33:09 AM
Would of loved to but I've been lazy and still have mine torn apart after doing some much needed maintenance
16  General / Open Discussion / Re: Mallory swamp on: July 08, 2013, 07:29:03 PM
I'd be interested in hearing more on Mallory Swamp as well, didn't know that they had opened it up to ATV's
This is all I could find on it http://www.mysuwanneeriver.com/index.aspx?nid=184

It would be 11ish before I could get over there
19  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: July 4th weekend? on: July 03, 2013, 01:55:08 PM
The more the better and it's always fun to meet new people! It's no fun riding by yourself all the time and that's why I'm trying to find a group to ride with this weekend cause all my local bunch is doing other things  Toast
20  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: July 4th weekend? on: July 02, 2013, 07:45:33 PM
I think every where is gonna be under water except for hastings, lol.

Yeah were starting to have some issues with flooding over here in the county I work and its supposed to do the same thing tomorrow so I'll be waiting to get called in! OT baby!  nanaparty

I know that fat daddy's river will be up and the 1/3 of there park on the other side wont be accessible, but they still have a lot of area to ride, I'm watching the FB page for updates on the water. Mud muckers is posting similar pictures as well.
Hastings is fine with me and looks like a blast with all the water and since I'll be solo it would probably be best
21  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: July 4th weekend? on: July 02, 2013, 03:12:14 PM
Well the weekend is getting close and it still seems to still be up in the air as to if and where anyone's riding?!
22  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: July 4th weekend? on: June 29, 2013, 10:42:09 PM
They sent me some new "upgraded" parts, see the pic, these are built like they should of been from the start!

Now I just have my tie rod issue and them coming loose half way through the day!

I work Friday so I can't go, but off sat and sun!
23  General / Group Rides & Events / Re: July 4th weekend? on: June 27, 2013, 12:23:49 PM
Doesn't matter to me! All I have in my area is some private property and the national forest and FWC has been a pain out there. I know Fat Daddys is starting on the fourth and going through the weekend, but its a little drive. Also mud muckers is having an event but damn that muds a pita.
Any of yall's areas good to go, sounds like Shindler may be out for a while, Hastings looks like a blast if you aren't bored with it yet
24  General / Group Rides & Events / July 4th weekend? on: June 26, 2013, 12:03:44 PM
Anyone riding July 4th weekend the 6th and 7th in north FL or south GA area? Somehow I have the weekend off I feel like doing some riding  Drive
25  General / Photo Gallery & Videos / Re: Rough day today on: June 24, 2013, 08:46:23 PM
I dont think the mfg. had this kinda use when they made these machines

That's why we are awesome, because we take it to and past a level the mfg never intended it to go to.

Exactly! Bow
I'm going still trying to figure out how to make mine a submarine!
