Upper Tellico is mostly boulders and rocks. This is not a good place to take a beginner rider. The trails are very technical and that same weekend Toyota Landcruiser Club with 150+ trucks are going to be there. The trails are going to be packed. I am going up there that Friday.Beasley Knob is going to be wet this year and the hills are slick wet Georgia red clay. These trails are going to be very difficult as well and not good for beginners. Davenport is the best place for beginners. It is a big loop but it a lot of fun. Try that first and if they can handle it then try Beasly Knob and then Tellico. I've never ridden Dahlonega but I here it's a good trail . We've been riding the trails up there for the past 4 years with our Banshee's. This year we are going up with a Sportsman 500 with a winch. The georgia forestry department Will send you all the trails maps in the state of georgia.

Tellico is an awesome place to ride. I am going there and to Beasley Knob Memorial Day weekend. We went up there last year with a Banshee and broke a rod on trail #6 and it took six hours to get pulled back by another Banshee. Other than that we had a great time. I am going to staircase this year taking the Sportsman with a winch.
