I have an '08 Polaris outlaw 450 mxr engine package for sale. The engine has a 544 big bore kit ,comes with carb and complete electronics and wiring harness. Have been running it on my micro sprint. The good news is cleaning the injector did wonders,it was flying.The bad news is it dropped one of the exhaust valves and quit running.So got the head off to put in some new ones.Thanks for all the info.
We picked up a '06 LTR last week,the engine runs fine but theres some thing broke in the tranny.You can't push it more than 5 or 6 feet before it locks up.When you push it backwards it will roll 5 or 6 fett locks up,but if you push it hard it rolls with the starter motor engaged.So that ones coming down now.

How do you go about cleaning one??

Looks like we be doing the injector now.I'm running out of parts to change.

We haven't checked the injector,but it's been a new tank of gas every race.Will check the filters again.Just starting to get annoying.Can you hook this up on a computer to check it out?Since we have it in our micro sprint the Suzuki shop up here doesn't seem to care about helping us out.

It's a 08 ltr 450.The problem we're having is it won't stay running ,goe's to missing and popping after a couple laps at the track.Acts like it's loosing fuel.We changed the fuel pump,regulator and cleaned out the fuel system,ran great for the first heat race then started doing it again in the second heat.Started checking the electrical system,battery was low and wasn't charging.Put in a new battery and checked the voltage regulator,cleaned out the plug and added a ground strap to engine.Now it's charging and battery staying up.Went to the track last night,same problem again.Checked the plug and it looks to be running lean.It's holding 43 psi on the fuel preasure.Could the TPS be bad and cause this or should I be looking for something else? Any help would be great.Don't know much about the EFI. Thanks Wade

We just picked one up this afternoon and was wanting to know where to get engine gaskets and seals.Right now the engine doesn't turn over,feels like the piston is stuck from sitting up for a while.Before we start tearing it down,would be nice to know the availability of parts.Thanks Wade

I need to break down one day and get the bikes out of the shed.So I come and visit ya.

It's been running good,but he managed to hit the wall and knock the front axel loose.
We've been sitting idle for to long not having a track.So it's been good that Bill is opening up T-Bowl.You ever going to build a track up there?

Hey Paul we had your old car out on the big track at East Bay couple weekends ago.My uncle has it now and he was having fun with it.

The micro's haven't heard anything new yet.I'll post as soon as we hear something.

my cousin has a couple pairs of kx 65 forks and I think 4 pairs of the ktm 65 forks.If interested give him a call,he's in Plant City.I'll pm you the number.

The're still tossing the contract back and forth.I think he's looking to see what kind of support there is to,whose willing to commit to racing every other week.He was talking of taking the pionts from sumter and moving them to Thunder Bowl for the rest of the year.Hopefully we know something in the next week.

From my understanding they had to have a 100% vote to get their lease renewed.There is 10 members and they got 7 for and 3 against.They are the same ones he's been having problems with before.He's been talking about widening the track up at Thunder bowl.

As for now we know that Bill has been working on a contract to get Thunder Bowl back up and running with his crew from Sumter.We're looking at the end of Aug for our first race there.As soon as I know any more I'll post it.Wade (Sunshinemicrosprints)

We went up to try the track out on the 7th.One of the worst races we have had.There as a car stalled in turn 4,and the flagger left the track under green for 3 laps.Someone in the stands actually got him to look on the track and through a caution.Promised to close the bar,but the track crew was drinking during the drivers meeting.Good luck we will not be back.
