Post by: Crispy on December 24, 2005, 08:25:18 PM
I gotta tell you guys I am nothing but pleased with this company, I ordered my pipe got it as soon as it was scheduled, I posted on the forums asking about Jetting questions and basicly whatever else boggled my mind and had practicly and instant response from there technicians THAT DAY. These guys are dedicated to there customers and put out an awesome product

I bought the HMF Slip-on for my 05' TRX400EX and mannn I can deffinatley notice a difference and I havent even rejetted, and for you guys who like sound this thing is LOUD clocking in at 105 db's

Thanks HMF, www.hmfengineering.com

Fergot to mention I have a video clip of the quad and how the exhaust sounds.

http://media.putfile.com/Exhaust9579

If that doesn't work just give me an aim at b3autiful l1f3

Bike hasent been completley tuned or jetted yet.

I don't know whats going on at HMF but the tech help is not very helpfull.
I sent 2 e-mails for some info and recieved a very poor response. I sent a 2nd and did not get a response at all.  ::)

yea, whene we got my dads, it came with a bag of 3 jets and absolutely no instructions so we called them and said to just put a 150 in main and 2 turns out on the air/fuel... neadless to say the jetting was horible he actualy lost 5 mph top end(it has a speed gauge)... we ended up buying the dynojet wich worked fine. there products are good, but they are not very helpful.

i love hmf. i called them up to ask them how much a spacer is for and exhaust so my sparks wont hit the caliper and they saw i bought a hmf for my rappy so they gave me a spacer for free. now thats great service. :ThumbsUp.gif

I got one for my arctic cat 500i auto. I actually ordered a 03 350 rancher pipe. this thing sounds great and fit perfectly. I have herd some other people having issues with them. One guy with a cat said that they told him to "buy a quad that they make parts for". they dont specifically make an exhaust for the cats.

HMF pipes are great, but I must agree with their reponse to customers lately. I guess they are getting too popular. I bought from there online store a pipe and TFI for the raptor 700. I ended up canceling because when I called about a week and a half later the guy on the phone just laughed at me and said it would take about 4.5 weeks just to get the pipe ready to ship  >:(. As far as jetting goes, on my Raptor 350 it was tough. Remember it depends on where you live ( Altitude and humid air make a difference on jetting) What works for some doesnt always work for others. You are better off buying these pipes through a distributor as they get them sooner.

I have the HMF sport series complete exhaust and rejetted the carb.it added alot of power and sounds awesome.I love it.the only thing is I have to run it without the air box lid but thats not that big of a deal.

why is it necessary to run open air box lid?
