Title: Air box lid on a 400ex? Post by: Crispy on December 21, 2005, 04:12:47 PM So I have my new (stock) 05' 400EX and I was thinking about taking off the airbox lid after I get my HMF slip on pipe in friday, now just a few simple curiosity questions.
1). Is anything I should look for as far as problems after riding it with the airbox lid off. 2). Any problems that might happen? 3). I'm guessing I should wash the air filter after every ride with the lid off right? And yes I do have a performance twin air filter in there right now. Anything else I should know or be aware of? Post by: Yamaha72 on December 23, 2005, 09:38:42 PM those FMF dyno sheets are full of SH*T theres no way a stock Blaster has 10 horsepower and a warrior has 32?????? a blaster and a warrior stock vs. stock the warrior might be a little faster not 22HP worth though.
