Post by: klutchbuster400 on December 18, 2005, 12:15:15 AM what do you mean new 250r?
Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r? Post by: o4250 on December 18, 2005, 12:19:45 AM what do you mean new 250r? It's completely restored with only stock parts. You never finda 250r's stock anymore. Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r? Post by: klutchbuster400 on December 18, 2005, 12:20:44 AM so a stock 250r is more valuable then a hhighly modded one?
Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r? Post by: o4250 on December 18, 2005, 12:22:36 AM so a stock 250r is more valuable then a hhighly modded one? I don't know my name isnt kelly blue book. But, when was the last time you saw a 19 year old quad look showroom floor new? Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r? Post by: Toomey on December 18, 2005, 12:34:37 AM It's takes an extremely modded up one, like top of the line MX, to be valued like that stock 250R is.

Id@ Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r? Post by: svtbolt04 on December 18, 2005, 03:09:16 PM The kit consists of a new Honda frame gusseted and powder coated black. A new, complete 2001 Honda CR250 engine with a Built forward kick starter, a new high performance nickel plated exhaust, complete intake including carb and airbox, and complete cooling system including radiator.
Thats from a dirtbike. Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r? Post by: 450R_Matt on December 18, 2005, 06:07:07 PM Damn nice looking quad. ;)
If I had a choice between stock and mod. I would buy the mod bike. Dosnt matter if it was the old 250r's or new 450r's Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r? Post by: 87250es on August 10, 2006, 08:56:51 PM i know this is a old subject but i would give anything to place my hands on that bike. i do not like quads but that one has got my respect. and to the guy that said "stock is worth more than mOd?" HELL YEAH... what would you rathe have a bike that some punk brought home and tried to be a pro mx racer so he bent the frame, busted the bottom out of the shocks, bent the axel, and fixed it with his $20 a week allowance or a freaking work of art like this...
Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r? Post by: Fox17 on August 11, 2006, 11:19:11 AM yea that stock bike is worth a lot more than a tricked out bike. i would love to get that thing.
Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r? Post by: Chevy1500z71 on August 11, 2006, 11:30:37 AM i dont care what its worth, a bike is ment to be riden and id rather have a tricked out one...
Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r? Post by: SpringHill Riderz on August 11, 2006, 10:00:56 PM i dont care what its worth, a bike is ment to be riden and id rather have a tricked out one... I here what your saying, but I would rather have a tricked out one AND a stock restored 250R to not ride and sell ofr good $$$ later on. Actually I would probably have a urge to ride it ;D Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r? Post by: Fox17 on August 11, 2006, 11:06:14 PM if i had that bike it would sit in the livin room and not be cranked up. that is a collector. you go buy a tricked out one to ride around. i want a restored one and a racin modified one.
Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r? Post by: Yamaha72 on August 12, 2006, 10:37:58 AM If that was my bike, I wouldn't be able to resist riding it once in a while.....
That same bike was in the letters section of dirtwheels Pg.50 April 2006 issue.... So clean and pristine, but quads are mean't to be riden. :wink.gif Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r? Post by: Alba450 on August 12, 2006, 11:31:38 AM That thing is sweet!
But I have to have a FULL MX 250R cuz I just cant let it sit in the garage forever it needs to be cracked open. Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r? Post by: klutchbuster400 on August 12, 2006, 01:45:42 PM He probably spent more restoring it then it would to completely mod it out :N
Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r? Post by: Fox17 on August 12, 2006, 08:52:15 PM heck ya and a lot more money too. stock parts are a lot more than custom.
Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r? Post by: Toomey on August 13, 2006, 08:18:26 AM He probably spent more restoring it then it would to completely mod it out :N But now he has something one of a kind! That's like saying, what's the point of restoring a '69 Camaro when you can easily go buy a brand new Corvette with all the money you'd spend? You're not looking for a daily driver, you're trying to have something that like stands out. Title: Re: Brand NEW 250r?
