Title: Re: Need help...clutch/gears Post by: Dr.Dirt on December 07, 2005, 08:03:30 PM I think I know what you are talking about...When you have the Clutch released you can be in any gear and it will act like it is in netural and not stall out right? If so thats what just happened to my Blaster and it is in the shop.

This goes for it in any gear. I had this happen on my quad and what happened was first gear lost some teeth and it tore up the main shaft and second gear. IT could be that the clutch is not fully engaging. Or your friction plates and spring need to be replaced. Try adjusting the clutch first. I don't think washing your quad had anything to do with it. My guess is that you need a new clutch kit. -Mark
