Title: Ocala camping? Post by: bruin350 on November 06, 2005, 06:55:18 PM My friends and i are planning a trip to O.N.F, we are probably going to Big Scrub. Can anyone tell me if you have to make reservations to camp there? Or can you just go and pay your parking fee and your in? Any other info on Big scrub would be helpfull too. thanks.

If you are going on a holiday weekend (Thanksgiving) you might want to get there early as it tends to fill up fast.

Post by: 1FasterBlaster on November 07, 2005, 07:42:11 PM If you want a better campsite with water /electric/showers/pool/laundry room.Ocala Forest Campground is on 42 going towards 19. $17.00 a night and if your riding you can go over to O.N.F. and pull right off the road and not have to go all the way into Big Scrub.
