Not sure about details, but call American Motorsports or a car drag shop. I know NHRA recently changed the rules about chrome plating car chassis because of something to do with the integrity of the metal after the process. I am not sure if that would relate to safety concerning a quad frame though.

Also, I don't think chrome will flex well with the frame. It will probly flake and crack.

It will crack and peel, just look at a bent bumper.

It will destroy the integrity of your frame. Alot of the major companies do not offer swigarms in chrome because it weakens the metal

Chrome (dipped) depending on the quality of paint you purchase wont change the integrity of your frame however it will add more weight. It can flex a little and probably the only places it would crack if at all would be around the weld joints.
I have dipped a few Go cart frames and bent the frame around a tree once and the tubing bent and the crome was still fully in tact. I also have a huge dent in my truck chrome bumber and its not cracked. On a 4 wheeler frame the only benefit in my opinion is looks if thats what you want..Dont go cheap on the paint and it should be fine.....

Talked to a chrome shop. and a couple more people and most think its not a good idea. that it does weaken the frame a slight amount. and I dont want to weaken anything on my bike, since Im jumping my ramp pretty much every weekend. Thanks for the input guys and gals [smiley=ThumbsUp.gif].
