Post by: 2006YFZ450 on October 29, 2005, 10:12:11 PM
What kind of grease should I use on my Raptor and how much?  Also how many times should I apply it?

use any good waterproof grease and apply it liberaly to your seat and handlebar grips. This will prevent chafing and blisters.

Don't forget the rotors, That helps the pads from wearing out so quickly.  ;)

Not to be a nerd or anything, but its fuel injected. No carb. But grease will still work the same on the injector, it will make the fuel injector open up if it is clogged. This has to be water-proof grease such as a petroleum based lubricant. It will also help prevent further clogging by dirt as well as make for a more fine spray resulting in better fuel economy and less emissions.

Kid remember you need high temp grease... to test it rub some on your hand and if can hold on to your exhuast pipe after 5 minutes running you have good grease. ;)

put water in the gas tank, new quads run better with half a tank of water, half a tank of premium 91+ octaine gasoline
