Title: Re: Osceola National Forest Post by: remmy on January 27, 2006, 02:14:48 PM I know of several places to go riding in the forest. It isn't near as fun as ONF, but it is a place to ride.
Title: Re: Osceola National Forest Post by: yunt2ride on January 27, 2006, 02:34:45 PM where would that be Remmy
Title: Re: Osceola National Forest Post by: remmy on January 27, 2006, 02:38:18 PM Well, you can stop at the ranger station and they will give you a map of places where you can ride and of course, the trails are marked for ATV use.
You can either go out 206 and ride the trails there. Or.... you can go down Gum Swamp (205) until just before you cross over I-10 and take a numbered road to some trails. Other than that, I have no idea where else to ride in Lake City. Title: Re: Osceola National Forest Post by: Paul_S on February 02, 2006, 10:02:50 PM Anyone know if the hunters have left the forest yet?

I noticed a lot of standing water along the roads in Suwannee County today.
Let me know about Kids. We might be able to make it Sunday. Teej Title: Re: Osceola National Forest Post by: Teej on February 16, 2006, 05:04:06 AM FYI for those of you going to Osceola this weekend 2/19/06.
This is the weekend festival of Olestee [have no idea how to spell it] in Osceola. Friday and Saturday are the festival activities. Sunday the 19th is the Olestee [sp] Civil War re-enactment battle. I do not think this will put anymore traffic in the woods where you are going to ride, but I wanted to make you aware of the activities before hand. FYI Teej Title: Re: Osceola National Forest Post by: yunt2ride on February 16, 2006, 05:34:35 AM FYI for those of you going to Osceola this weekend 2/19/06.
