Ford is the best truck on the market.  2005 Super Duty is better than any truck on the earth. I drive a f150 SVT Lightning.  I blew the doors of a 2004 Chevy SS.

That is a FORD site so naturaly everyone would expect them to tell what they won't the consumer to know. All manufacturers do it. GM will only tell people the good about their trucks and the bad about all the others. Just like every manufacturer out there. Who has the highest resale value on the market. This whole Ford Verse Chevy Thing Honda verse Yamaha ETC is Not something you or I will solve buy and drive what best suits your needs. you will have to expect flack when making the claims you have without backing them up.  I will back up my claim with proven documentation Just because you can pull a Ford out doesnt mean your Chevrolet is anymore reliable or powerful than the fella your pulling out.That is usually driver, just like the battle between the 450's the rider truley will determine the end result. reliablity and durabilty is how long the vehicle will last and the value you get from the ownership of the vehicle. I am partial to FORD because of the experience I have in that area not to mention I work for them.

 i have always owned chevy's, thats until i bought my first FORD. after constantly replacing alternators,batteries,ac compressors,power steering pumps,transmissions(only 85k miles)i gave up. i still own a chevy but am looking into buying a FORD replacement. only has 125k and is leaking coolant from intake manifold.  i now currently drive my second FORD,F-250 6.0 powerstroke diesel. probably will last 20 years.

bahh just dont say a cadillac EXT or a Hummer SUT! COMPLETE SOCCER MOM CARS! And to add to the fun, Ford is the way to go. Id rather get 19mpg or so with a Ford Powerstroke than say 7-8 with a Duramax that wont last too long. Only thing i like about Chevy is the Allison Transmission.

dude, NOBODY pays me to to say what they want me to. i speak freely and of MY OWN experience. the bottom line is no matter how many FACTS people tell you your answer is chevy. just like yamaha and honda. first owned TWO hondas,then bought a yamaha. which would i buy again? YAMAHA,would not even have to think about it. honda and nissan make 'trucks'. big deal. when i see them 20 years down the road with over 250k miles still on the road like FORD or CHEVY then and only then,will i consider those trucks. right now those are trucks built on the reputation/reliability of an economy car in a 'rice burner' generation. don't get mad at me just talkin'.

I know we're mostly talking about trucks. But I was at the Ford dealership tonight, yes I'm a ford guy.....but the salesman and I were discussing the new Rousch mustangs and he said of all the cars on the lot, which included the best Ford offers, he told me the fastest car on the lot was the property of a salesman. The car was an 05 Vette z06. Those words came from the mouth of someone who has driven all Ford's best mustangs. He did say the only thing that vette wouldnt beat was the red and white GT in the showroom......but for 140,000 that GT better beat alot more cars too!! Thats just my .02 about this whole Ford/Chevy rivalry. I personally am not biased even though I currently drive a ford truck. My decision was based on appearance though.....b/c Chevy makes good vehicles also.  ;D

Yea right. You just cannot beat a 4.3 liter vortec chevy in the V6 lineup. Now GM has an inline 6 cylinder with 275 horsepower and 275 foot lbs of torque.
