Title: Re: they have done it again Post by: T2 on October 06, 2005, 09:26:51 PM I just want to say thanks to ATP (Mike) for getting Dreth's bike up and running for this ride that we had planned for the past few months, without Mike doing all he did in such short notice, this ride wouldn't have been the same without Dreths presents, since he and I set up this group get together.
Also I want to say a big thanks to Mudrat for letting use his trailer so I can haul the 5 bikes we needed to take. Thanks alot Mudrat. We will give a full report when we ruturn. I sure am jealous :'( See you when you get back. --H Title: Re: they have done it again Post by: dreth on October 11, 2005, 01:00:04 PM ATP/Mike and Melissa went way above the call of duty!!!!!!!!!! with 10 min. notice they said bring the quad and we will get you all fixed up ;D they let me stay at their house, fed me dinner and breakfast, and got my quad all welded, gusseted, powder coated and back together :ThumbsUp.gif so i head home to pack for the trip and change the oil in my quad and the filter is full of matal shavings :'( HEY MIKE?! :H, what do i do now :banghead.gif he says to take the motor out and head back to his shop because David Bonstat said i could use his race motor for the weekend :drive.gif so off i go! we put the motor in and she ran great the whole weekend :ThumbsUp.gif :bow.gif :T ;)

Heck you gave me two whole days to tear down a bike, powdercoat it, gussett it, reassemble it, and do an engine swap. Anyone could do it if they had a great assistant like DRETH !! ;) But anyways, No problem. We started this darn place to help, and we will do whatever we can to keep everyone up and running. This trip all though dampen by the rain was awsome. someone asked if it was better than Ocala. there is no comparison. except that Ocala is free ride where as Durhamtown is a paid facility, and the riding areas would normally be groomed. the rain made the ride challenging but worth the trip in my opinion.
