How do you like your SV650? I'm interested in upgrading from my current bike and was wondering what the pros and cons are of the bike?

Actually, I dont even ride it anymore... I am looking to sell it... It only has like 3000 miles on it and it was bought brand new in 2004...

but when I was riding it, I had a blast..   It was the first motorcyle i've ever owned, so I dont really know all the pros/cons...  Top speed that i've seen is 138mph

well, i've done my research and checked all the 2004 Suzuki SV650s that are being sold with the approximate mileage that mine has, and i'm thinking     $4500

never been dumped, break in period by the book, Runs perfect... I only opended it up once down a back country road... Got up to 138 and I chickened out. lol...

Honestly, I did knock it over once, but it did not sustain any body damage... Just a couple of almost invisible scratches on the left mirror... Also, the left front blinker housing was cracked during my Retard moment!!!

If you or anyone else is thinking about buying the bike, I still make payments on the bike, but it is in the process of being payed off... Until then, the bank holds the title... If you or anyone purchases the bike before it's payed off, I WILL get the title and hand deliver it if I have to... I know trust would be a big issue with that, so I will give you or whoever all my contact information, including work telephone number and location... I am a Police officer and if I were to screw anyone over, I could lose my job... Just trying to start the trust/honesty process as we speak...

If this sounds reasonable, and if anyone would like to come see the bike, get ahold of me on here and i'll get you my number...

Thanks,

Scott...     no AKA yet!!!  lol

I'm no officer but I think it is more like 50cc and you must at least have a drivers license.

btw, nice toys. Hopefully you can make it out to a group ride soon.

It used to be like that but the laws probably changed.

From the Lawbook.

If you wish to operate any two or three wheel motorcycle, whose engine is more than 50 cc, you are required to have a motorcycle endorsement on your driver license or a motorcycle-only license.

like he said...  yes, anything over 50cc operated on a state, county, or municipal roadway must be operated by someone with a drivers license with a motorcycle endorsement, or motorcycle only license...  if it is 50cc or under on the roadways, you still must have a valid drivers license...
