Title: Need help getting bike tuned up Post by: Toomey on October 03, 2005, 11:09:31 AM I just got a 1996 RM250, that needs a little tuning to get running strong. In case I can't get it done myself, I'd like to know if there's any shops around South Florida that I could take it to. All it needs is the carb tinkered with. I know there was that Brian's Two Stroke, but I don't know if he does dirt bikes. Any one know of any shops, not looking for a dealership.
Thanks. Title: Re: Need help getting bike tuned up Post by: TRX450R_Racer on October 03, 2005, 01:29:11 PM WMR in Lake Worth 561-434-4478. Their not cheap, but their good with 2 wheelers.
Title: Re: Need help getting bike tuned up Post by: Toomey on October 03, 2005, 02:35:19 PM Alright, I've heard of these guys before. They seem top notch. I'm also thinking of letting Godfather have a shot at it, they're a little closer too, maybe cheaper. And I'm not really racing, just that this bike is running weird.

I have not be online the last few days. Palmetto Motorsports Miami (305) 557-1311 (a little expensive) but is one of the best places in Miami for honesty and consideration. I know of a few individuals that fix bikes on the side down there, but I would have to contact them first.
In Broward, call Champion (954) 236-5559 Marco Martinez owner he has good workers and sometimes you can get them to work on the side. (hush hush, of course) The owner is a decent guy. Broward Motorsports 467-0990 competition cycles, i do not remember the number. if you need it, it is on Old Griffin Road. If I lived down there still I would offer to help you out, my boys and I do that stuff to our bikes. In fact, my sons have overhauled a 900 Kawi and tuned up and done all kinds of stuff to my 750 Ninja. Let me know how it goes.
