Well man it's kinda like this. Most of us have been members of this site for a long time and don't see/feel the need to just post about anything to raise our post count. We earn them the hard way with usefull and meaningfull posts. You didn't get to where you are now overnight so your not going to get back on track overnight either. This is a good start though. IF you just want to BS and talk to folks on the internet then that's what chat rooms are for matter of fact we have one on this site.

It's probaly the fact that you made 53 posts yesterday. And evertime you hit refresh theres another one from you. Remeber when I said "please, stop posting" about a month ago? Now you see why. ;)

This is a good start dude. Just enjoy the site.

Good idea raptor. By the way, the Karma means abosultely nothing in real life, so don't let it get to you. The best way to make people happy on here is post useful information on useful topics. Make a post every now and then on a topic you know something about. Do not just post on every topic you can find.

He did say that he would slow down. Well he has a little bit. So far today he is at 19 posts and he's not even home from school yet. I guess he thought we only wanted him to slow down for 1 day.  ;D

 Theres alot of stuff on here lately " on this G rated site" that has pushed the envelope that I wouldn't want my teenager to read that has been overlooked and you choose to ban a kid for to many posts? Maybe I missed something. Did he repeatedly insult people, threaten people, include sexual inuendos in most of his posts? Or is he being judged by his negative karma? I'm just curious. If I missed something please enlighten me. Thanks.

You know cableguy has a point there. He was ask nicely to stop being a post wh0re and he said he was going to stop. So he lie about that, but thats it. I think that Mike did the right thing by give him a time out! cableguy is all so right about pushing the envelope.I'll the first to admit that.  if we cant have a 18+ section, so what do we do about it?

A lot of useless post at that. He WAS warned, he still didn't stop. It's only for a week, he can handle it.

i dont want to be a you know what, and im gunna be totally honest, but i havnt seen anything on here that wasnt deleted very quickly/delt with by the mods that isn't appropriate for a teenager.  the mods do a very good job getting rid of stuff very quickly.  expecially that da_mtg guy, hes always on :P

the kid was warned way more than 1 time, and its not like its a permanent ban... its only a week.  if he doesn't like it then he won't come back, or maybe he'll stop being so annoying.

How do you give someone good karma? I've tried to figure it out for a few days now with no luck.

You have to have 250 posts to give Karma. And PLEASE don't just start posting to be able to give it.... It is not that important.
