Well well !!! how about that? like some one post nothing that can't be fixt with a after market hood, looks like they put that light after they finished the quad, but now let see how it performs, that will take care of the rest, take that ligth of and race it on the MX or XC and see if what they say is the truth, bring it up to the field !!!

I actually kinda like the looks of it, and I usually dont care for Zuki's

I have put off my purchase of my new bike waiting on this machine.  All I can say is I am highly disapointed.   Alot of hype for nothing. 
 
After giving it some thought, you can just make mods and expect the fuel injection to make up for it.  It wont!  The system is maped on a curve chart with all the factors combined.  In other words its mapped to run the way it is set up, if you make any changes you must make adjustments accordingly.  Sounds like trouble because its not a true fuel infection. 

Well seems like I will get another YFZ and to heck with it.

i dont think its photoshoped the engine looks nothing like the dirtbikes and those tires look nothing like whats out today. it would have takin a long time to do that. ???

Hum is that what that is, the who ever did it must fix that head light, other then that it may be OK  ;D, now can you put some HP in the pic  ::), but you know what, I'm not changing my Yamy for any photo-shop fix or real deal

I think it looks pretty cool, alot of people are flaming the new blue/yellow suki look but I think its pretty sweet.

i agree, but if it was the real deal dont you think Dirtwheels would have already done a review on it,Z-400central would have it all over and the Suzuki Website would be blazing the pee out of it!!!! the dealers did receive a short dvd about it but it did not show a clear picture of it at anytime,Stuff like this just adds to the Hype  ;)

That is really ugly.   and i thought it was going to have better suspension than the 450r and yfz? Plus its a suzuki its not going to be has grat has everyone thought but i do think suzuki did an okay job.i actually dissapointed  :'(

I like it! Other than the front headlight it looks nice to me. Regardless of what they come out w/... I'm keeping my YFZ.

ahhh but is that the real deal? sure its your #1 source for the info, but until i see it in dirtwheels or on the suzuki site, i wont believe it.

I dont like it, but it probably looks better than the new honda 450, it went from (IMO) good looking to terrible.

Looks a little like a cross between a dvx and a z400. That pic came from the web site ltr450hq.com. Like gearhead said untill I see it in DW or a test on it I will set tight.

That's an insult to the quadracer legand. To me it looks ugly. The back half plastics look kinda like the old quadracers, well ok maybe the seat only but the front looks horrible.   -Mark

I wouldn't call it a quadracer. It doesn't go ping.. pa.. ping. ping..ping ping  ;) Take away the cam, valves, and cut the strokes in half and I'll be happy.  ;)  But what they should of did is try to get the plastics as close as possible to the old LT with a 4 stroke motor. If they did that I might just might of bought one for my wife. She can't kick over my 250 cause of the compression and I assume this new 450 has electric start.  I raced a stock LTZ400 with my 250 and it was ugly. Hopefully this one is faster.  -Mark

The ping ping days are over for new quads and i think it looks like the old quadracer, maybe needs a blue nose.

if it was a ping pang ping ping ping pang  not to far after that would be a Bang clunk  ;)

LOL, ask TRX#9 what happens to four strokes when they go bang clunk  ;)

I just received the October issue of ATV Sport, and they are reporting the following:

"The rumors, speculation and innuendo have run rampant about a new Suzuki sport quad making an appearance in the company's 2006 lineup. That's no secret. What is secret is what the final product will be. However, we do know some things and it all points to something interesting. Here is what we know: it will have EFI. That is right, following the Yamaha Raptor 700 and before that, Cannondale, Suzuki has decided to equip its latest offering with electronic fuel injection. This means no more jetting for the conditions, or jetting for a new exhaust system. Starts should be easier and power will be crisp all over the place. We also know the 450 will come from the factory with a chassis that is ready to race. What does that mean? For starters, one will not have to scour aftermarket for hard parts in order to race. We fully expect it to have A-arms and a swingarm that are ready to go. We know that long-travel suspension is not out of the question, too. Something else we have a strong feeling about is the name. We expect the machine to carry the QuadRacer moniker. Not since the days of the LT-250 has a Suzuki sport quad carred that badge. There was speculation that the QuadSport 400 would carry the "racer" name, but it didn't happen. Not any more, because we think Suzuki is serious about racing with the "QuadRacer 450". Suzuki's dealer meeting is in early October, so you can expect Suzuki to release the details on the machine then."

How are you going to take the heel guards off, If your foot slips backwords your foot will get ripped out of its socket from the tire.

 I can say that everyone will probably be seeing this quad just after the first of the year.
 I am not sure of which month exactly, but Team Suzuki will probably be on the Z400 for the first couple of GNC races next year. The quad has to be in production with a certin number of units available to the public before they can be used in the Pro production class.
 I have a friend that is going to be riding Suzuki next year, so hense the little bit of insite on the release of the new quad.

front plastics look like a cross between a predator and a yfz. i don.t think that is the final production model for the 450. maybe that is the new restyled z400?  who knows!!!

i like it(if thats it). Ya it helps if the quad looks good. But i wont judge a quad unless i ride it. Look at the honda 250r. Look very plain, But arguably the the best racer ever built. My opinion.......

i cant beleive gust is going to race it stock. :o

Stock does NOT mean "you" or "I" stock, as in how we buy it off the showroom
floor. Think about it, it's not really that hard to believe! 

Factory Dirt bikes resemble stock bikes way more than quads but they are not stock
at all.

Also with dirt bikes, the only thing they do most of the time is revalve what already
comes on the bike. So as long as the a-arms are wide enough(they are) AND the
shocks are good units, yfz, trx, ltz are currently but do not have enough travel and
need better valving but the shock itself is quality, then its not that hard to
understand.

One of the perks you get from being a factory rider is you have a suspension
tuner who works with you on a daily/weekly basis. As you are testing you just
come back and say hey "it's kicking going into those whoops there". Then he
can revalve for you on the spot almost. Plus they attend the races with the Pro's.

Well, I have said way too much. Sorry, I can't wait 'til it comes out. Quad racers
have been footing an eXpensive bill for along time and it's about time someone
makes a racing quad wide enough stock.

idk about youll but personily i think thats the ugliest quad i have ever seen..
i mean with out the light it aint bad but i just dont know..
i like how it comes with 18 on 8's in the rear but everything else is ugly to me..

o well some custom brackets and youll have new fenders. off what idk but anything looks better.

I saw one of the white and blue ones yesterday at the local Suzuki dealership and let me just say this, they look A LOT better in person then they do in those photos.

well i think im going to retract my last statement..

because i remeber when my dad told me to pick out a new quad and i didnt like the way the yfz450 or the trx450r looked and me and cobryn always talk about how ugly it was until that day we went to xtreme sports and looked at one and it looked great..
and so did the yfz..

so idk mabe its the pics but it probibly looks great whats the going price on one of these???

I was very disapointed to see this bike a few weeks ago.  Personally, I think it looks like one of those "pepboys" bikes.  I had a Z400 and I like the old style much better.  I would never buy a LT-R450 just because of the way it looks.  The 450r and YFZ are so much better looking and I think they will all perform about the same on the track.

      It looks alot like a stealth fighter to me. With all the sharp angles.  I like it cause its different.  But Its similar to the yfz.  ;)
