Title: River Ranch info
Post by: cain73 on September 18, 2005, 08:55:12 PM
I have never been to River Ranch, but like the idea of having a place designated for recreational use for deed holders. I have seen ads on ebay for a lot of money, but have heard you can get them much cheaper if you check at River Ranch or know someone that is a deed holder that can hook you up with another owner that wants to sale. What is a reasonable price for a place in R.R. ? And does anyone know where I can buy in for a decent price?

Contact Ginger Farmer at Flagship Realty in Lake Wales. Her phone is 863-676-7653 and her email is honey1964@worldnet.att.net. I paid about $1750 earlier this year. Everything was done via mail and was totally legit. Good luck.

Thanks KAT and RDJ. We sell premium parcels located within the established camping area. We do have cheaper parcels available. River Ranch encompasses aprox 111 sections within SE Polk County and only 6 of those sections make up the camping area. So needless to say the camping area is considered the premium property. Give us a call and we will see what we can do. Thanks, Marc - M & J Lands (863) 206-5358  email: sales@mjlands.com

Does that mean that if you have a deed to a place not in the camping area that you can't camp there at all? That would make it like a day use area only ?

Long story but No, Thats not what it means. Call Marc and see what they have available, I don't have a deed for sale but can probably shed some light on anything that you might be unclear on.

No. Right now campsites are not being distributed anyway about it. There is only temporary camping. The camping sections are just closer to the entrance, tend to be a bit higher evelated than some of the other property and that makes the property a bit better than the other 85% of the property that is located miles out into River Ranch. It is a bit tricky to fully understand how River ranch works and it can be better explained in verbal converstaion. I do not mean to confuse you and fell free to contact us. Thanks, Marc
