Title: Handlebar grips??
Post by: Honda328i on September 13, 2005, 10:04:18 PM
I'm looking to get new grips on my 400EX Renthal bar.  I don't like the ones there now, I get bloody blisters (I'm not a brit btw ;D) .  They are Pro Grips, but there is hardly any cushion, even with good gloves on.

Can anyone recommend any soft grips that they have tried and would recommend?  I have the latest Rocky Mountain catalog, I just can't tell from the pictures.  Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks!

When you say good gloves do you just mean "new" gloves.

I have found that it's tricky getting gloves just the right size.
A little off(too big) and it's blister city.

Other than that I usually use thin grips 'cuz I got short fingers.

Try OURY fat grips. Theay are very soft. Also you can use underware gloves. Moose makes them. thay are made out of kevlar and prevent blisters. I use that combination and it works good for me.

Underware gloves come in half finger also. I like the full finger ones.

Pro Grip RVGS 934 ATV Grips(Medium Compound)

Those are what I run on mine and I don't get the blisters to much anymore

I second the OURY GRIPS I run them without gloves sometime and they are great. I did a mass purchase on here aboput a year ago. called OURY direct got a wholesale order up twice in fact and sold out each time here on the site. great people to talk to also.
