Title: Question about Raptor and spacing
Post by: Eworm on May 06, 2005, 08:29:16 AM
I was wondering if one you guys can help me here. I bought an ext axle, a arms and shocks for my raptor. My question is if my arms are plus 2 can I go wider in the back? For example:

FRONT:
Plus 2: 1 and 1 on each side

BACK
Plus 3: 1.5 and 1.5 on each side

If it helps any, I have the gforce and ASR pro comps

Thanks in advance

Worm

you should go wider on the rear  otherwise the quad will feel weird  while high speed  turning

Are you sure about this? Just want to make sure.

just go by total width. gnc racing limit is 50 inches from rim/tire edge to edge. anything wider than stock is more stable. especially RAPTORS which are very narrow stock. trail riding becomes more challenging when wider..

DONT get wheel spacers, just wait and save up for A-arms, suspension and axle.
