Title: What should I expect to pay for these quads? Post by: Njoutlaw88 on September 06, 2005, 10:13:55 PM Hi,
As you know for many months I've been looking for a quad and I think I will get one soon when I sell my car. Anyway What can I expect to pay for these. 1997-2002 yamaha warrior. (i'm 6,1 188 pounds so could I fit on this, what does it top out at?) 1994-2002 trx 400. ( I dont know if I want this one because it doesnt have reverse) 1994-2002 The reacon or rancher. ( I want a higher cc utility) I don't really know the yamaha or suzuki names for there utility and sports quads so if you could give me modle names it would be helpful so I can search for it. Thanks for your help. Title: Re: What should I expect to pay for these quads? Post by: jwscroll on September 07, 2005, 06:58:39 AM Yamaha has the BigBear 400, the Kodiak the Grizzly are bigger than that I think, and the Yamaha Bruin is a 350. Honda has the Recon 250, Rancher 350 &400, I think they did away with the foreman for the Rincon which is the biggest Honda Ute. I don't know anything about Suzuki.
A 94-03 Rancher will run between $2000 and $4000 depending on who you get it from. Title: Re: What should I expect to pay for these quads? Post by: Southern4x4 on September 07, 2005, 07:12:28 AM im a honda fan but polaris has sum high cc utes

Post by: Ida_Mann on September 07, 2005, 02:05:57 PM just a comment on reverse,,,,it's overrated.
the only time I miss reverse anymore is when I'm pulling the quad off the trailer or out of the back of the truck. Id@ Title: Re: What should I expect to pay for these quads? Post by: Njoutlaw88 on September 07, 2005, 05:23:40 PM WHERE CAN I FIND QUADS BESIDES HERE AND ATVTRADERONLINE.COM?

Im telling you man, the Z400 is the better bike out of the 400ex. Much more top end and really comfertable throttle and seat. I bought mine for 3400 and I got a 200dollar carbon hood, full rossier exhaust, kill switch on a teather..lsr E brake block off.. Tag handle bars, White brothers 10k rpm CDI..was jetted.. and nerf bars.. It was a sweet deal. I plan on racing Harescrambles with it. I have been to practice for about two months and for about a lap, I can keep up with the 450r's..Oh wait.. I was leading them! On stock suspension.. I would definatly look at the Z400 before the 400ex. Oh, BTW I go around 62mph in the bottem of 5th-top of 4th. Top speed on it would be like...70mph. Onto the older foremans, Some people have them working fine, but some people like my friend have blown their engines and have to readjust the valves once every two rides.. IMO it was a hassle to even ask him to go ride. But then again, his jetting might have been off when he put on his HMF. I know he got a 04 for 4700 with mudzillas. Top speed on these....Well, with tires...id say a slug would take it in a race around the world. A warrior. Well, I think if you must have reverse, then going fast isnt your thing. A warrior is a trail bike, weekend warrior if you know what im sayin', not many use them for MX or XC, they just cant step up where they need to. That really is the bike for you. I bet a farely used, but in good condition(not beat up) will do about 60mph. Also, you can find good deals on Utes.. I sold my 02 grizz with 4200miles on it or somthing like that for 3700.. It had 26 gators, fully snorkled, jetted, IDX pipe, clutch kit, K&N.. It was nice, but it got old real fast going in an out of a mud hole.. and then getting stuck was too much work to move the 650lb beast. The choice is yours. Post by: jaxdawg2 on September 07, 2005, 08:17:04 PM for a sport the z400,kfx400, and the dvx are verry good. they are all made by suzzuki. the 400ex is great to. for a utility kawasaki runs at the top.
