Mamma Grizz and I were talking about finding out if there would be any interest in doing a chick atv/camping weekend.

This event is not for beginners or the weaker riders.  We will be running solid and riding hard most of the time.  Not sure if it's going to be a mudding event also or just fast trails.  Aggressive female riders wanted.

Not sure where or when yet, it's still in the works.  Leave some feedback with your thoughts.

Where are you guys thinking of going?  Maybe I can borrow my mom's rancher and join in. I might have to do a lot sweet talking :-*

Not sure there's talk of ONF and another place.  I'm sure once we get interest and have a group together we will probably figure the rest of the details out.

I want to go, I like female aggressive riders ;D

It would be fun for a couple guys to go...We could use someone to clean our quads and gear when we're done. OH and someone to cook and make camp for us for a change

Is this a strictly female ride? I would like for MrsPureLogic to meet some of the other female riders in the group, and she is not going to want to go alone. Is this a possibility? Or do I have to dress in drag to ride with ya’ll?

It has been discussed that this is a women only group.  I haven't seen Lisa ride so I don't know what kind of rider she is.  She's welcome to come alone as long as she can keep up.  I remind ppl this isn't going to be a site seeing tour through the woods.

Alright guys there will be no drag.  This is a chicks only ride.

Please do me a favor and don't post on this thread unless you are a woman interested in doing this ride or you have a wife interested in joining us.

I'd be able to keep up, that's not an issue.  Not interested in going, thanks anyway.  I have fun with the hubby, wouldn't go without him.  I enjoy riding in itself....... but I enjoy being with my husband and friends more.  Thanks!  :)

Well I love riding with my husband and friends, but I think it would be neat for a chick only weekend/riding... especially some good trail riding!

You guys have a good ride, take plenty of pictures and I will enjoy it that way.  I can ride hard but can not do it all day. 

I'm in.  I am game for whatever.  It sounds awesome.  I will try to keep up.  When are we going?  I will try to get Stitch to go too.

I talked to Stitch about this. She is not interested in riding hard & fast. She does not feel she is experienced enough for this type of ride yet. :no

If we do ONF plan on being in 4th or 5th gear as wide open as it'll safely go for your experience.  I generally ride the woops on my ute at this speed w/ the faster group on our group rides.  If this is not you then this may not be the right ride.

The other place we are thinking about is serious mudd!  So plan on riding being wet, and muddy!  Generally someone in the group sinks their quad and kills it.  Fortunately, a few of us women have learned the know how to get ourselves unstuck and fixed.

There is nothing set for this ride as of yet.  We are just testing the waters to see what the interrest is.  Once we have a list you will be given options of dates and locations for us to work this out.

Where are LittleRedneckGirl and FordLuvinDirtyGirl?  Thought for sure this would interest you ladies.

Let me know.... I wouldn't mind just ladies for a change!

Any other women interested?  I was thinking maybe in November or December.  Any suggestions on what month and where we want to ride?  Once a list is created you'll be notified of the options for this ride.

November 12-13th is FR MX 3 and Dec 11 is MX#4.
Any other weekend is good for me  ;D

That works.  The third weekend of any month is out for me cause I'll be at MSG.

Why don't you girls get together at the unmentionable place one weeknd when there are several of us there. Your group could take off on a ride and have the assurance that someone yopu know is within a few miles away in case there is a serious problem. Then we could have a cookout later that evening and make a weekend out of it. Just a thought.

Mike, were you talking to PureLogic and TeamQuadGreen, since they are gonna be in drag. LOL.............You just want the video of them so you can get a mental picture for after the weekend. LOL

Ok, I was trying to be nice the first shot.  Please quit stealing my thread.  If you are a man then you don't qualify for this ride so please remove your posts.  When I go through to read and figure out who is going I have to sift through all the other stuff. 

Now on the other hand if you have something constructive to say or a suggestion like Mtg Man then please feel free to post it here.

Also, there is a reason for this being an all chick ride.  When you guys go out for your guys trip do your women ask you to go somewhere where we can be near by to protect or help out?  The women that are going on this trip are quite capable of handling any situation that comes up.  The point of going w/o the men is to not need the help and be self sufficient.  I know you guys have good intentions.

I just know that we are capable of such a trip w/o male intervention.  That we can have fun w/o you guys from time to time doing what we love......and it's not shopping.

Ok.... so what is going on with this? I am excited to have a girls trip especially after only riding with guys all the time. I can get a break from male humor!

Not sure.  I figured maybe in December sometime.  Not sure where to go.  I have a few possibilities but they will not be posted online.  Once we get the group together that wants to go we'll set a date.  Then pm for location possibilities.  Any other suggestions?

Be careful with December because a lot of people have family down or are going away. Early Dec will probably be best. So the list is:

I understand where you guys are coming from. Here's my thoughts:

Mike and I have been married 8 years. In 8 years we have spent 2 nights apart. That was this year when he had to go out of town for work and I couldn't go. I went NUTS! I have also only ever been riding without him once (with my mom and kids) and I called him 10 times to tell him all about it. Because like you said he is my best friend. I can't sneeze without calling him and giving him details LOL.

I have always been considered "one of the guys" and have never really been one to "hang out with the girls" it just isn't my thing.
But after meeting QT and Mamma Grizz (they are a trip! :D)I thought it might be fun to try this out  8). Give hanging out with the girls a try for once  8) I know you guys don't have kids so this doesn't apply but I think it will be fun to get some time by myself for a day  ;)  Although if we have phone service there I can't promise I won't call Mike 50 times  ;D

Myself and dirtygrl80 would have liked to join this one , but we don't have enough "seat" time in yet for a hell bent ride.......... plus neither one of us can drive the F350 and trailer......heehee.......so we will see ya'll on the other rides......lol   



       

Susie I could help ya w/ the trailer and F350.  You need to get Bill to take you out and teach you to get comfortable w/ handling it.  I say that cause you never know if he'll get hurt on the trail god forbid and y'all have to get things loaded and get to help.  Open trailers aren't a big deal to tow.  It's the closed one's that I am still working on driving.  Concave mirrors and extenders make all the difference in the world either way.

I've given alot of thought to this ride and being that it was Mama Grizz and my idea to do we have made some changes to the ride.

This ride is more about women hanging out and having fun.  I hate the thought of leaving someone out that would like to be a part of something that rarely happens. 

This ride is open to all women and daughters regardless of riding experience.  There is thought though of going on a few rides.  One of them we will likely all ride together.  Another one we'll have 2 groups.  So those of us that want to open it up and tear it up can do so.  And those that want to ride at a different pace and enjoy the scenery can do so as well.

Maybe meet up at the end point and have a small cook out or something.  If you are interested post here or PM me.  Susie don't worry about the trailer.  I'd be happy to come up and tow your open trailer w/ my truck.  I'd really hate for y'all to miss out on something like this due to small issues.  Correction, Mama Grizz said she'll have room on her trailer for another bike if someone needs her to bring theirs.

Ok, Stitch, Kat, Susie, Dirtygirl, Mtg_boss, ms.mud....you have to come join us!!!!  And I don't know if bigworm would let mudmonkey go w/ someone else but if so and she's interested can we find a way to get her there?

This is Mrs. Nightbreeds Mom, I have a  Rancher 4x4. I'm very interested in your weekend chick's trip. I'm the one she was going to sweet talk into to use the quad, and if the weekend works, she's out of luck.

Out of luck huh? Well ....we'll just see about that  ;)

Someone else has emailed me and volunteered a ride for the weekend. Jees with all the love maybe I should consider being the first 27 yr old adoptee.... :P


Seriously though, I am really glad you want to come  :-* It has been a long time since we spent the day together with no kids. Except it used to be at the beach. I never would have thought it would be doing this.  8)

So has a date or location been decided on yet?  I'm still working on getting the money to repair the bike, it's been one thing after another but I would love to get together and finally get the chance to meet the faces behind all the posts.

P.S.-I'm hoping to have the ride back together by early December if nothing else goes wrong. If the trip takes place between now and then maybe we can do another ride.

Last time Lauren and I talked she was considering the first weekend in December but then this past weekend she realized that C&R is having an event so she is unsure at this point as to what the date will be. If I hear something I will post.   ::)

hey im new to the site and am looking to get to know some people to ride with and have some fun!!  im 18 and my mom and sister love to ride.  anyone ride around the tampa bay area?

I'm just south of you in Sarasota.  There are plenty of ppl in the area to ride with.  Do y'all ride sport or utility quads?

The chick trip details are still in the works.  Nothing set yet.

There are 2 new years rides going on.  Scrub which will mainly be families and sport quads.  They are a great group of ppl to ride with.  I'd be going there if I already hadn't had plans.

The other ride is a mudding event for mainly utilities and is 18 and up.  There are threads on both rides in the group rides section.  I hope y'all end up doing one of the rides.

cool...its good to know thier are people nearby to ride with.  ive had a hard time meeting people my age who like to ride.  we've got plans for new years already but we'll definetly love to go out riding some other time.  wish i was going riding for new years though!!!  have a fun new years everybody!!!

We are getting my quad in the next week, and i haven't ridden since I was a kid, so i  am a bit rusty...
