Title: Winch Install done! Post by: GSPKurt on August 30, 2005, 03:14:39 PM Here are some pix from my project yesterday- I installed a Warn 3.0ci winch on my Eiger. It wasn't very difficult, I just had to think it through before starting.

This is per the Warn instructions.

It will get moisture in the box and connectors to the bolts need to be protected so it will keep working. I fried one due to it rust and corroaded connectors and it is costly.

Jim Jim- You mean the main power lugs that the heavy cables are on? I put the rubber boots on the terminals, thats not enough? I'll get some liquid electrical tape at Wally World today. Yes it is costly :(- a new contactor is $100.00! :( :'( Could I smear some silicone grease on the lugs? I think it would be a bi*ch to get the nuts off the posts if I use the liquid elect. tape.
